Hello,

The short question is that I have two Microsoft accounts, each with some of my services, which I would like to combine (as best as possible) into one login. I realize that there is no merge accounts feature at this time, but previous threads have suggested linking accounts which I believe if also no long available. My current accounts are as follows:

#1 - associated with a GMail email
- logging in to Windows
- Office 365 subscription
- SkyDrive files

#2 - associated with an Outlook.com email
- email, contacts, calendar

I would like to get mostly the Office 365 permissions and SkyDrive over from #1 to #2, with the goal of exclusively using account #2. If anyone could provide me with information about what the current best way to do this is, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,
Eric

Hi

I woke up this morning to check my email and saw that my Inbox had been deleted. Does anyone know a possible contact email at Microsoft to see if I can get the Inbox restored?

The emails from the Inbox have been completely removed - they are not in the deleted items folder or any other folder.

Thanks.

Dear Microsoft

I am using skydrive on Surface RT and I have a syncing error with office 2013. Just 4 days ago, I noticed that every time I saved my document, the ribbon bar no longer says uploading to skydrive but rather says word is now saving document. Office also requires me to sign in every single time I open a skydrive document. I thought my account was hacked to I changed my Microsoft account password. Because of this error, my documents are no longer synced with my home desktop computer. Please help me find a solution to this. It was perfectly fine before 4 days ago.

I activated Outlook.com for email.  I do not like it and want to deactivate email ONLY.  When I click "close account" it threatens to close my entire Microsoft account which deletes my Xbox Live and all other Microsoft related services.  I DO NOT want to delete all of this and just want to deactivate the outlook.com email.  Microsoft didn't even know how to do this and directed me here...anyone....help?

I recently cannot attach some files (not a photo file but a file like Microsoft software file e.g. Microsoft Word or Excel and PDF files) to my outlook email when trying to send an email with an attached document. As soon as I add the attachment to the email,  there is a problem between outlook and internet explorer and the email program in outlook is closed by Internet Explorer and I lose the email that I am drafting. I now have to be sending attached files from my other email accounts and not from outlook or my hotmail account which is very inconvenient. Please fix this problem immediately for Outlook users with Internet Explorer 10.

Thanks in advance Patricia

Hi,

I had issues last week where I didn't receive incoming emails for approx. 4 days. I checked all the settings and suggestions from Microsoft and changed password etc etc. I did then receive a few emails for a day or so, but am again no longer receiving emails since Tuesday! Don't know what is going on but am very frustrated as am missing important emails. I have also put the email forwarding on to an alternative email but they are not arriving there either! I can send emails and other people receive them. I have sent myself tests as have other people but they don't come through. I have done everything except reboot my phone but it seems to be a Hotmail issue rather than phone issue as I've also tried on my netbook. It will sync but no emails will come through. Hope someone can help as I've had this email account for 10 years.

When I am away from home, particularly in a foreign country, I have been unable to receive Microsoft assigned number security code, as it is sent to my home number, or an alternate email address, neither of which work, and I do not want to have the code sent this way, nor to a mobile phone, or other phone number.

I need an alternate method of identification, such as my birthdate, or a previously agreed to numerical code I could enter. How do I set up that option?

hi
Since microsoft changed my emails from hotmail to outlook, my emails are bouncing back as folks try to email me on hotmail.com
Also when i logged in, all my emails were missing
I am finding it impossible to connect with anyone in Microsoft to solve this issue for me. Hopefully, someone can guide me as to how to reach microsoft and figure out why they have messed up my account?
