I received a message noting that Outlook service for mobile devices has been restored, but I still cant access mobile service as of 8-16 7AM EST. Any Suggestions or estimate of when service will be restored?
Good Morning.
On Wednesday, there were outages and access issues with BLU179, I have been unable to retrieve email on my mobile devices since 2:45 pm yesterday. I am hoping someone at Microsoft is listening as the server list they fixed over the last two days includes many but not mine!
Hey,
I having problems synchronising my contacts down from Outlook.com to my Apple mobiles devices running iOS 6.1.3.
I uploaded my calendar, contacts and email into Outlook.com using the Hotmail Connector for Outlook and that worked fine.
I set up the accounts on the mobile devices as suggested using the Hotmail profile and email seems to be working fine, so to does the calendar but contacts are not flowing.
I have tried to remove the account from the mobile device and re-add it several times with no luck.
I can set up a new user in Outlook.com and it syncs down as well as setting up a new user on the mobile device and sync up to Outlook.com but I cannot get my contacts to sync down.
Any suggestions on how to get this flowing down?
Thanks.

I've been trying to access my emails like I do everyday, but for the past few hours I've been getting a "Synching problem with your mobile devices" message. What's all this about. Am I going to be able tp access my Outlook emails fairly soon? Of course,
you can't respond to thid because my email service through MSN isn't working. Anyone who would like to respond can email me at

Your updates indicate there is only a problem accessing Outlook from mobile devices. I am not on a mobile device and have been unable to access Outlook for the entire day.
After resetting my password I am now unable to send email from mobile devices. I have updated the password on my mobile devices (iphone and ipad) but keep getting an error message saying username and password are incorrect. I have confirmed that they are
correct.
FYI, I am RECEIVING email on my mobile devices, but am unable to SEND.
Please help!
At one time, all of my email would sync with my mobile devices as it was on Outlook.com. Now, it no longer syncs. All my email gets dropped in a single folder on all devices and appears to need to be managed separately on each device. For example, if I
move an email to trash on Outlook.com, the item still remains unread in the inbox of my mobile devices. I thought it might be a MAPI setting on Outlook.com or on my devices, but no settings seem to exist. My mobile devices are Windows Phone 8 and an iPad mini.
What am I missing?
I am an outlook.com user, new to it. Great job BTW. I cannot send email from my mobile devices, everytime I attempt to I get an email from Hotmail Member Services
