Okay I'm posting this because the thread I originally posted has been "locked" for some odd reason and I can no longer follow up.  Okay to recap I do NOT own a mobile phone so I cannot "Verify" my account via that option.  I was also advised by some of you that I should reduce the number of recipients until it lets me send the email.  Well guess what?  Even with only sending it to ONE person it says "please verify with your cell phone" and won't allow me to send-is there a programmer reading this?  Somebody with the power to override what is happening to my account?  All I want is to be able to send emails to my friends-and now I can't even send an email to ONE recipient.  I just signed up for this account yesterday and this problem is really unexpected.

Hello,

I had a new mobile phone about 2 years ago and when I was setting up my hotmail it must have had it's default POP setting to delete any email on the server (OR Hotmail just decided to delete my 10+ years of email storage). Since this frustration I have accepted that hotmail could no longer be my primary email account, however I still use it for some personal emails. After reviewing some of the FAQ here I am hoping someone from Hotmail/Microsoft and help me retrieve my long lost emails such that it could become my primary account once again. I think this service that Microsoft offers is a great idea, but I only wish I was aware of this 2 years ago. I will give it a shot now and cross my fingers.

Thanks.

My email address now looks like it's setup for a phone and not a computer. I have looked at simular problems but they were for people that use Internet Explorer not Firefox.Could someone please help me.
As the title said, it has been bothering me for months. I have changed my password many times and also scanned my computer for malware or viruses, it still didn't stop. I just reviewed all the settings, such as alias, auto forwarding, etc. there's no problem with that. Finally I enabled the two-step verification two weeks ago, which required me to enter verification code from my alternative email address and mobile phone. In order to receive the email on my mobile phone, I also created app password. I thought it would put it to an end, but unfortunately, it didn't. First, my email app on my mobile phone reminded me of the change of app password, but how? how could they change my app password if they didn't hack into my hotmail account? But how could they sign in my account, since two-step verification was enabled. Furthermore, I have checked the recent logged IP addresses of my alternative email address and am sure no one else got into my other email address to get the verification code. they haven't got my mobile phone either, so they won't get the verification code from the mobile. So how did they hack into my hotmail account without the verification code? I have noticed there are many similar cased reported before, thus I fear it's your email system which has the bug. How could you fix this problem?

mobile phone connected to computer.  Opened Windows Gallery, clicked on Import.  Only device shown is CD file F

How do I add my phone as a device to import pictures to Windows Gallery?

Help needed urgently. I have been trying to access my hotmail account for the last 20 minutes and it doesn't let me in!!!! I have tried with two different browsers and on my mobile phone (that has windows 8) all are denying me access. What the **** is going on. I need to access the reference number of my train ticket. Can you please do something NOW?

Please help. Don't ask me to refresh the browser, I've now tried from many computers and mobile phones. Please do not re-direct me to other posts. I need real help. The new train ticket will cost me £80. Please help! I am at work and cannot spend hours reading somebody else's posts to see if they fit my case. Please respond!
I have outlook on my android phone.  I have "synced" all my folders and everything works fine, just like using outlook on my laptop. However, when I try to empty or delete emails from my junk mail folder, there is no icon or tab or the little trash can symbol to be able to delete them nor is there a way to "select all" so I can then empty or delete multiple emails at once. PLEASE HELP!  This is driving me crazy because I get about 100 junk mail emails each day and I have to delete them one at a time!!
Hello, I have been prompt to enter a security code within a few days or my account will be locked. While I had click on recieving the code via my mobile phone but I have no text message from Microsoft with the code.

While I had email my issue to customer support but it has been more than 24 hours and I have recieved no new information about the code (I even typed a new message in that link provided in that message confirmantion after I send it).

When will I recieved anything about the code soon? As I type this, I have 4 days left (the account will be locked at the end of the week if I don't get the code soon).

I believe my mobile phone number on my account is correct (as seen on my profile page) as the last two digits match up but the amount of * look less on that secruity info page (less then 11, the amount of digits for a mobile phone number). Is that normal?

Before you asked, I have clicked on the alternative on calling on that number instead of text but I got no call aswell.
I am still experiencing this issue with my mobile phone (Android).  Ever since the service interruption, my mobile device has not synched with outlook.com.  I will receive new emails but emails will stay in my mobile inbox even though I have deleted them all in outlook.com.  I deleted and recreated the account, refreshed constantly and made sure that the phone is set to synch.  Nothing does.

Your status update page shows all green check marks but obviously this does not apply to all the people still complaining about this issue.  What is Microsoft doing to address that?
