I would like to thank you for taking the time to reply to my mail.
It means a lot to me.
I had a free msn email address for a long time now. While I was browsing through the support articles I noticed that I could set up another primary email address. So I set up an outlook.com email address and made it the primary one. I changed the account settings to make the old msn email address a secondary one. The article said that I could use the same password to sign into both email addresses. Further, when I sign into msn.com email address or outlook.com email address it takes me to the same inbox.
1. Question:
Please advice if it is safe to continue using the mail (the new outlook.com email address) with what I have done?
2. Question:
I have moved all the mails from my secondary account (msn.com email address) to my primary account (outlook.com email address) inbox. Please advice what I need to do to delete duplicate mails in the new inbox.
3. Question:
Please advice what I should do to automatically transfer the mails from my old email address (msn.com) to the new email address (outlook.com)?
4. Question:
Please advice what information I need to have in order to retrieve/ recover my email address in case it gets hacked.
Regards,
Nirmal
I can not log into my xxx.msn.com email account. I have filled out the reset request form twice and it has been returned with not enough information. I have had the account for 15-20 years and I don't remember some of the setup questions. If you could let me know what the security question was, I could provide the answer. It just ask for the answer, doesn't give the question. I answered all other questions except for subject lines, which I do not know.
Please advise
Hello Vincenzo... I had hotmail, under msn as my browser, but as everyone knows, msn is switching most people to Outlook, like me, and now I can't open my Outlook emails, consequently I had to open a Google account to look at my outlook email.
From what I heard the msn browser address is causing the problem? I really liked the msn home page with all the great info. so... if I un-install ie8 (32bit) and re-install it, would that solve my msn email problem? Possibly my msn email would now have a different address, which would solve my concern... Any solution you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have XP... Manny
