Hi,
I have seven domains in my admin centre. All domains were verified very well but domain lucky-car.cz is not verified still. I tried recommendation Handling issues with MX Record or Pending DNS Configuration error but no success - still pending changes. Required setting is following:

  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: lucky-car.cz
  • MX server: 13d46d1b419c9d41a57f349cda8054.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority)
Current domain setting is (returned by any on-line DNS checker):
lucky-car.cz. MX 3600 10 13d46d1b419c9d41a57f349cda8054.pamx1.hotmail.com.

Could you check to see why my records are not recognized by in admin centre, please?

Thanks,
Josef
I am long time Outlook.com user and run my own email server (so I have a solid understanding of SPF, MX records, etc).
I forward certain accounts to Outlook.com (for reasons such as push email notification to mobile devices).

For the past few days, email forwarding DOES NOT WORK which is a major issue.

Here is another user complaining of the same issue:

I also posted at the bottom of this thread:

Long story short, this issue is sporadic.  At times the forwarding works, the next it does not.
Steps I have taken:
  1. My dedicated IP has a flawless reputation; I have rDNS setup; I contact the Outlook.com postmaster using the Microsoft form and they replied that there is no issue with delivering email.
  2. The only filter I have is to never put anything in the SPAM folder; mark everything as legitimate email.
  3. Outlook does NOT bounce emails; I did get one error: "Result: SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host mx1.hotmail.com [65.55.37.88]: 550 5.7.0 (COL0-MC2-F10) Unfortunately, messages from (192.65.243.59) on behalf of (chase.com) weren't sent. The domain's message authentication polic" but it appears to be Outlook.com INCORRECTLY checking SPF records on the original domain vs. checking SPF records on the sending IP/domain (meaning my server that I am forwarding to Outlook.com

It seems possible that a few of MX server's are handling forwarding different which is causing the inconsistencies in it working.
Please help.
Thank you.

My domain name is www.goldwellinternational.com
The nature of my website is to provide web development/marketing services.

I previously had troubles with the registration, because my domain was caught in an overzealous blacklisting functionality. I posted a question to this forum and got it sorted, so I could register with the domain.

Hi
I can't add a new alias because I can't collect email sent to that email address and I can't collect that mail because I have added the mx record to verify the domain ownership.
History is:
I created a Microsoft account and added the primary user with the address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I added the mx records to verify the domain ownership and mail is coming through to Outlook.com for the mailbox *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I want to add *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but the verification is sent to that mailbox and isn't collectible because the mx record points to Outlook.com and Outlook.com rejects it as there isn't a mailbox of that name....... round and round we go!
So, as I have verified that I own the domain, why does it want a second verification and what is the way around this please anyone?
Regards
Peter

My domain host has amended the MX records as per the MS spec but still no joy. Can someone assist me please.

The spec used is

  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: XXXXservices.co.uk
  • MX server: d255c54b3f9b4a8e20eb01ab83ef33.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority

    Thank you.

  • Hello all,

There are many of us out there suffering this problem. I have successfully created an MX record for one domain. However, I am attempting to do the same with a second to no avail.

The first was actually more complicated as I moved from Google to Live.com and yet that was successful after a week of tinkering.

My mx data is as follows:
    • DNS record type: MX
    • Host: elitelanguagetraining.com
    • MX server: 4a655e4bf63cc149b0b8cc661086be.pamx1.hotmail.com
    • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
    • Priority: 10 (or High priority)

All of which has been correctly input to my host's (GoDadyy.com) DNS manager. I have deleted all MX records and repeated the process several times. However, no matter how often I hit refresh on the live centre admin panel i cannot get the email account to activate.

No I need to change nameservers or any other settings in the DNS centre?

If not, there surely must be a solution as so many users suffer the same issue and I have managed to get a separate email account working after locating the conflict between Google MX records and hotmail MX records. N.B. There are no other MX records present with the domain listed above. there are other DNS records - could any of these be the problem?

    Please advise.

    Thank you
