Original title: adding music to video
How can I add music or narration to individual clips? I wanted to have music on my title clip but it was added to the whole project. Is there a way around this
The problem is quite simple. I want to remove part of a movie clip and put it at the end, but when I try to cut it out my narration dissapears on the second split. Why?
I was working on a video in Movie Maker, I added narration, it worked fine, I saved the video, played it, all fine. I thought "I could probably do a better take". So I went back, deleted the narration, and recorded a new one, when I played it back it's
just a clipping static noise, I deleted it and tried again, still just noise. I went back to the original movie maker file that had the narration that worked and played that and now that's just static noise too. Pretty annoying.
Also, is there a way to delete this new Movie Maker and get the old version from Vista back? So far the new Movie Maker has been nothing but a hassle, I can't see any benefit to having this version over the old one.

I have tried to upload soundfiles that were .mp3 audio files.
I have also tried to use the sound recorder function which I know works on my pc as I have used it many times before.
I cannot get any narration or voiceover to add to my digital story for a uni task due in a week.
Urgent help required.
I have all my slides in order, recorded narration and the slides have a green squiggly line underneath them but when I click play I get no sound :(

I created a snagit video and sent it utilized movie maker's narration function. After narrating the narration the file saved as a wma. I saved my work to "video's". Later wanting to edit the narration I went to video file and had to select all files to
see the saved WMA files. When I attempted to open the file I received the error message "Movie Maker doesn't support the selected file type". Can someone help me? Thanks!
Hi, I REALLY REALLY need help. This used to work fine for me, but now it wont.
I created a slideshow with narration in WMM and everything saves as a movie maker project fine, but when I save as a video file or upload to you tube all I get is a black screen with narration.
I have searched HOURS AND HOURS on this issue. I've read and installed all receommended codec packs and software to find out what codecs were needed and NOTHING WORKS.
There has GOT to be a solution to this problem. Seeing how it used to work perfectly fine about a year ago.
I need these videos for my business. Someone PLEASE help me.
*All my drivers are updated per my computer
* I have uninstalled all codec packs since none of them worked
*I am running windows 7 home
*I have the most up to date version of windows essentials installed
