For 2 years I have been using Windows Live Mail to send and receive mails through my Gmail account using IMAP setting.
Yesterday I have added my Hotmail account, to Windows Live Mail, using POP3 server.
The Hotmail account operated fine, but my Gmail account started malfunctioning receiving the message:
You server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this includes server problems, network problems, or long period of inactivity.
Error Code: 800ccc0e
However if I press repeatedly the sent receive, I receive my e-mails and the outgoing mails are sent.
As I'm not computer expert I would appreciate all the help I can get.

Not able to receive emails at Windows Live Mail

I have not had any problems so far until the last one week when I could not get my emails to appear on my Windows Live Mail.  I get this message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the robmei2001 account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

 

Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com.sg'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F

Protocol: POP3

Port: 995

Secure(SSL): Yes

I checked all my configurations accordingly and everything is correct.  But still cannot get emails.  Can someone please help me?

problem with gmail and MS Live Mail

 I have been trying to set up gmail to download into MS live Mail. I am using Windows 7

I get an error message each time saying Your  server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity.

Details are:

Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

 

Configuration:

   Account: Gmail (my username)

   Server: imap.gmail.com

   Username: [my username]@gmail.com

   Protocol: IMAP

   Port: 993

   Secure(SSL): 1

   Code: 800ccc0e

Nothing I do seems to cure the problem. I can't send or receive emails unless I click on send / receive.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

CANT GET EMAILS.

I can send the same emails through a gmail account, but with windows mail, there are the above codes I receive after it times out.

I have tried the idea of changing the port from 25 to 587. no good.

 

Any others ideas?

Using Windows Live mail I am unable to send or forward emails of only a modest size . I can however receive such mails

Alao I receive the following message "

This problem has arisen since changing my ISP and email address.
