I received a new computer for Christmas and it runs Windows 8.  I'm used to Vista.  Using my Hotmail address, I CAN'T FIGURE OUTHOW TO ADD CONTACTS TO MY PEOPLE PAGE.  I have followed the instructions but don't understand how to get it to happen.
We just got a new computer at work.  It now has Window Live Mail instead of Outlook.  All our contacts from our Outlook express transferred, however, so did my personal Hotmail Contacts.  I do not want my personal contacts mixed in with the work email contacts.  How can I stop this.  Are they linked?
Just got a new computer, Windows 7.   No longer have Outlook Express for e-mail, so in setting up Windows Live Mail, I also got Windows Messenger.  So now it loads at Start-Up.  I have been unable to find any method to keep it from doing so.  It's just that every time I start the computer, I have to click it off because I will not use Instant Messenger.  Thanks for any help.
I have moved offices but MSN is still signing me in automatically at my old computer as well as my new computer. How do I stop it from signing into old computer? I do not have access to the old computer but I don't want others reading my messages

Just got  new computer with windows 7.  On my other computer when sending or fowarding an email and clicking on "to" my address list would come up with either my frequntly used or all of my contacts. This one only gives me all of them. I tryed to put some contacts into favorites but they don't show up. Is there a way to get both the long and short list?

last time I got a new computer I  lost all my adresses on Bell Sympatico
I bought a new computer. I added it to my home network and transferred data from my old computer to my new computer using the network. I started up Windows Live Mail on my new computer and used  'file import' to bring in my old email files.  The 'import' function saw and imported my 'Windows Mail' files (I used Windows Mail on my old computer through 2009, then switched to Windows Live Mail), but it couldn't see or import my 'Windows Live Mail' files. I know the old Windows Live Mail email files are there, but I can't figure out why Windows Live Mail can't see them or how to import them. Any suggestions?
I built a new computer, and installed Windows live mail.  I have 4 accounts from diffrent sources - none of them yahoo or gmail.  I can recieve mail perfectly, but cannot send, it says the server cannot be found.  I have gone so far as to reattatch the old compter, export the settings to the new computer and - even though the old computer sends perfectly., the new one does not.  My internet provider (suddenlink) tells me it is a microsoft issue.  I have also looked at my router and my my virus software to see if there is a block.  Nothing!  Ideas?
