Three days ago I created a new email address so I could use it for Paypal.

I tried signing in today with the new address to be told that the Microsoft account doesn't exist. I had a look on a forum online and I believe that this may answer why I can no longer access the account:

'Please be informed that free Windows Live Hotmail accounts become inactive if you don't sign in for more than 270 days or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account.

After an account becomes inactive, all messages, folders, and contacts are deleted.
Incoming messages will be sent back to the sender as undeliverable. '

I believe that as I didn't sign into the account until three days after creating it, that it may have been deleted. I would really like to know if there is any way of making the account available again as I have already set a new Paypal account up with it and it would be a lot of hassle to change it over to a new email.

Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!

Migrated from WebTV account to outlook but can’t remember Outlook email address

A friend of mine created her new Outlook account because WebTV is ending. She created the account in early August 2013 and never used it. Now, today (Sept 30 2013) WebTV is ending and she can't find her Outlook.com email address anywhere. She found the password, but did not write down the email address *sigh*.

Help please.

I want to delete my old hotmail and keep my new outlook. I have gone on to each account and deleted the aliases. Neither account has an alias now and yet when I deactivate my hotmail it STILL deactivates my outlook. Please help, this is really annoying... I don't want either account to be linked together.

Hi All,

Decided to add my hotmail account as an alias to my new outlook account. Decided to remove it as it copied over all my contacts which I didn't want. So - I removed the hotmail alias but it has deleted the whole hotmail account. I have tried to recreate the address (says it is already in use) and tried to log back in (says it doesn't exist).

I have this account registered with so many sites! Really need to get it back. Please Help!

Transfer all messages in old hotmail account to a newly created outlook account

I need to close down an old hotmail account. however before i do so, i want to move all my old messages from here into new outlook account i have created. short of forwarding each individual message to my new outlook address (which would take hours) is there a quicker automatic way to move all these messages from a hotmail account to a new outlook acccount?

Linked account on outlook is gone and now I can’t get into the old account.

My old hotmail account was linked to my new outlook account until recently when the linked feature was disabled by MS. Now I can't get into my old hotmail account because I forgot the old hotmail password (I never needed it because the accounts were linked and I could get to it from new new email). I've tried all the options under how to reset my password for my old account and they have all failed. How am I suppose to regain access to my old hotmail? There are important emails in there I need to have.
