When I start an hotmail session I get this message on my screen: We need to add some security for your account and asks these questions: phone number, alternate email account trusted PC , security question, Mother's birthplace and then "SAVE" Is this legitimate?
I've recently upgraded my computer and Office for Mac hit it's activation limit. To be clear, the old computer was formatted and the new computer is the only one with this copy of Office.

I attempted to activate by phone, however when I finish entering my installation ID, I am asked for 'how many computers have installed this version of office?'. When I reply, the phone system immediately hangs up.

I was told to call Office Installation and Activation Support ((800) 936-5700), but after identifying my product to be Office for Mac 2011 and that I had not activated, it returns me to the same phone-registration system.

Is there a number I can use to get in touch with someone at Microsoft?

I am sending this message using my friend's account (who is with me, so we have instant access to any response), as I obviously cannot sign in using my own.

My account: (Removed email address for security reasons) has been blocked. I think this may be due to me sending a large number of emails to my students this morning.

Unfortunately, I am unable to access the email address listed as the one that the recovery code will be sent to, as I have not used it in over two years. So, I have no way of unblocking my account.

Please can you assist me with this urgently?

I keep getting error number 0x802F0028 with Windows Live Messenger. I cannot use it to Facebook chat. I cleared the contact cache and this did not help at all. There is almost no online help for this error code other than this site. It seems to be working fine with social updates and whatnot, but I know that people are signed into facebook and they are not showing up as online. This all started when I applied an update from windows. I uninstalled the update but that did not reverse it.  HELP
**EDIT**
It seems to be working now, but I think it might help Microsoft to know that their recent update seemed to cause the problem.
As above
Invalid phone number

Everyone appears offline on my messenger and I cant send anyone IMs even though they can see Im online and they can send me IMs, also says 0 emails, when I open hotmail I have a number of emails? Im not blocked by these people, we have checked, and this is happening with all my contacts not just one. I have checked my service status, it says messenger is running fine. I have run an auto fix through windows live, and it says it is fine, and I have totally uninstalled windows live and reinstalled, but still the same issue.

All help gratefully received,

Thank you x

NB: this problem only occurs on Live messenger, and the chat facility works perfectly well via Hotmail. I have also logged into a different account on this computer and can send messages without problem. The error i am getting when trying to send an IM is 'the following message could not be delivered to all recipients' and it comes up in red.. this happens if they are online or not (but they not showing online to me).

Thanks x

My email is blocked.  They said that they are going to send the code to my phone number, but its incorrect.

It stated XX38, but it suppose to be XX34.

I need help!!!!
