I have a user who is having an outlook mailbox password issue.

He has two machines at work ,he is running windows 7 with office 2010 and a mac-book with Mountain lion and office 2011.

His password expired so i when into AD and reset his password . Neither machine would accept his new credentials for Outlook, for his windows machine I followed this guide :

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/fix-for-outlook-2007-constantly-asking-for-password-on-vista/

i renamed his %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect and his windows machine is no longer asking him for his password .

I'm not familiar with mac enough to pinpoint how to trouble shoot this same issue .

Does mac-have a similar workaround as in this guide? If not does anyone know where i can start ?

I uninstalled 64-bit Office 2010, Lync, Project Pro, Visio.  Installed 64-bit Office 2013 of all the same components.

Now...

* SkyDrive does not sync (I reinstalled it, files synced) but if I change a file - error on upload

* SkyDrive Pro does not sync with Office 365 SharePoint Online (Can't Connect to specified site)

* Project Pro cannot sync with SharePoint Online task list (

* I can't add additional Save As Connected Services options

I read one post about manually adding registry item UseOnlineContent and setting it to 1 or 2, but that did not work.

I get the same error "this feature has been disable by your administrator".

I am the administrator...

File attachments created from Office 2010 now show up as "Prohibited file type. This message contains an attachment whose file type is considered dangerous. The file has been deactivated". This was not a problem yesterday.  I have Office starter on this computer.

I downloaded Office 2010 in July of 2013 and encountered some system performance issues.  I have Windows Home Premium and only 1 G of RAM.

I want to reinstall choosing only a couple programs like Excel and Word but am unable to locate the link that allowed me to install this product only last month.

I am told I have access because my work laptop has an e3 license from Microsoft.  This is supposed to entitle me to download Office on up to 5 devices.

Hi,

I'm still planning a move from a desktop PC to an iMac.

I've gathered that the Calendar in Outlook 2011 won't sync with Canedar on the iMac so (I think I'm right here...) so what about Oulook 2010 running in Win7 and Parallels?

So,  if I use Parallels, Win 7 and Office 2010 on the iMac I assume I can sync the Outlook Calendar with my Google calendar (using google calendar synch running in Win 7) and the Calendar on iMac with Google Calendar (And either my iPad/iPhone with Google Calendar or with Calendar on iMac - don't know about that bit yet ... so first part of my question is has anyone any advice here as to the best way to achieve this sync between all devices and Outlook 2010 Calendar?)

I can acess Gmail with my iPhone/iPad to keep up with mail when out and about as well.

So the second part of my question my question is, How do I synch the contacts in Outlook 2010 with my iPhone , iPad and iMac Contacts?

Currently on the PC, iTunes syncs with contacts. Will iTunes on an iMac with OSX sync with Outlook contacts on same iMac running Parallels/Win7/Office 2010?

As always, many thanks for the help and support you guys give.

Regards

Mike

I used to use a PC running Windows 7 and Office 2010.  When I save my contacts, for some unknown reason they were all converted into .msg files and now i can't import them into my Office for MAC 2011.  I no longer have access to these contacts on my Windows PC.  Is there anyway to do a mass file extension change on the contacts with a .msg file extension that would enable these contacts to be uploaded into Outlook 2011 for MAC?

Thanks.
