I am looking for help to access mail hosted on Outlook.com using Outlook 2013 (Office 365 Home Premium v15.0.4535.1511).
My email address/Microsoft Account is not an Outlook.com, Live.com or Hotmail.com address - it is my own domain, something like <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>. I can reach my account successfully from my Nokia Lumia 920 and Windows Mail on my Lenovo Thinkpad 2 (Win8), but not from the "full" Outlook client on the Lenovo Thinkpad 2 (Win8) or a Windows 7 laptop (O365 HP also).
I have tried the following (unsuccessfully) to get Outlook to connect to Outlook.com:
- Select File->Add Account
- Select "Manual setup or additional server types"
- Select "Outlook.com or Exchange ActiveSync compatible service"
- Enter Name, Email Address, Mail Server, User Name, Password
- Email address is something like <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
- Password is my Microsoft Account password
- For the Mail Server I tried "m.hotmail.com" and "dub-m.hotmail.com" - my Lumia 920 uses the latter successfully (I think it is a Dublin server)
- User Name is therefore also <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
The test to access the account fails with the following error: "Log onto Exchange ActiveSync mail server (EAS): The username or password you entered isn't working. Please try typing them again."
Please can someone help.
Thanks
I have Office 365 Home Premium on my Windows 7 Pro PC and I have a Windows 8 Phone.
My desktop Outlook Account uses Exchange ActiveSync
Some emails that show up in Outlook.com, on my Windows Phone 8 (server is bay-m.hotmail.com), on my iPAD (set up as MAPI) do not show up on my desktop Outlook.
It seems to me that this happens occasionally and only with threaded emails. My desktop Outlook does not thread emails (neither does the iPAD for that matter) whereas Outllok.com and Windows Phone 8 do.
So far as I can tell Contacts and Calendars all sync properly between desktop Outlook, Outlook.com and Windows Phone 8 (iPAD syncs properly with entries from the Windows world but calendar and contacts entered in iPAD do not show up in desktop Outlook, Outlook.com or Windows Phone 8) .
It is only desktop Outlook that is on occasion missing emails. This is a significant problem for me as desktop Outlook is where I organize my email and where I almost always reply to emails.
Two other things:
1. I've also experienced dragging and dropping an email in desktop Outlook from a folder to the Inbox and the email has disappeared from desktop Outlook altogether.
2. For emails that do not show up in desktop Outlook - I go to Outlook.com and move such an email from the Inbox to a folder --that email (which was not in my desktop Outlook Inbox) will then show up in that folder in desktop Outlook.
Any help with or explanation of this problem would be appreciated.

Hello there,
I purchased Office 365 Home premium by paying Annual subscription fee of Rs.4199/-. But the additional Skydrive storage of 20 GB is not added to my Skydrive account. I am using same Microsoft account to login to office as well as Skydrive.
Please help.
