Outlook mac 2011, Fonts discrepancies between mac and windows.

Hello all,

I recently switched to Mac and purchased office mac 2011. My main issue is about fonts in outlook, which after googling I found that it is a common issue.

I was using outlook for windows, and now I am using outlook for mac however, fonts are really small, for example, when I set a text to be Arial 10 in my email, the recipient receives it as Arial 7 or 8 which is really small.

Just went all MAC in my office, on the PC version of outlook we could specify a 'from' email address, is there some hidden setting in Outlook for Mac that will allow me to do the same? Or a reply to address?

Why can’t I sort by "sent items" in my folders column? I just installed Office:mac 2011.

outlook 2011 for mac not syncing gmail properly

hello. shortly after i upgraded to i0s6 for my iphone (possible coincidence) i've been having trouble with outlook syncing my emails. it seems now that any messages the are downloaded to my phone do not get downloaded by outlook. however, if outlook gets to the messages first, they will download to both the computer and the phone. i need messages to download to both devices. is there a setting somewhere that can cure this?

i'm on a macbook pro and just installed office 2011 thinking that the problem was with entourage 2008. (osx 10.6.8). thanks for any help you can offer.

Outlook 2011 and Spotlight search not working

have tried pretty much tried every suggestion i've found in this forum, and numerous others.

i've rebuilt indexes a dozen times, triple-checked spotlight config, checked permissions, verified disk, reinstalled office 2011, checked for the MS mdimport plugin, reinstalled mountain lion from scratch (aka. re-partition and install). same result.

last known working config: latest Lion (not Mountain Lion) version, Outlook 2011 14.2.2.

HDD crashed, replaced HDD and OS (to mountain lion), restored MUD from backup and problem has existed since.

my IT dept (who i've found friendly but unable to help) have only indicated that they've "seen a few cases of this problem since ML was released, and that a rebuild from scratch is the only way to fix it".

the problem is, as i've stated, i did the rebuild and that hasn't changed anything, just wasted another day.

must be a bug is what i'm thinking. unless someone far better than me has found the cure?

how do we know if MS is working on a bug fix?

awesome-est part? i partially trashed my exchange inbox mucking around with outlook exports n imports n stuff.

but anyway, i'll be happy just to get my search mojo back. its not till its gone do you realise just how much you use it.

I'm using Office Mac 2011 on iMac and when i tried to send or received e-mail, the following error pops up. please help.

Choose Contact Display Fields

I notice that even though some contact fields are blank, that a contact card will still display the name of the blank field (Office, Department etc) This is a little annoying. Is there a way to have the contact cards not display empty fields?

Outlook 2011 trouble connecting to Exchange 2010

All of our Outlook 2011 users are unable to connect to Exchange 2010 outside the office. When the users are inside the office Outlook 2011 connects fine. Does Outlook 2011 need a special certificate assisnged? Does basic authentication need to be enabled on Exchange Server? Any help would be appreciated!

windows messanger 100% cpu lockup problematic advertisement

There is some advertisement in the messenger loop that is causing the client to eat all available CPU and memory. This is happening to everyone in our office (windows XP, vista, 7). We're also running different versions of IE for the IFRAME (ie 6,8,9).

Please QC the crappy javascript your advertisers use.

Public Folders greyed out

This is only for Mac for Office 2011. I cant see any public folders. I am currently migrating from exchange 2007 to 2010. I can see them in Office 2010 on Windows Box. Not on Mac. Any suggestions?
