They are experts in your field of inquiry and would be in a better position to address your concern. You may post your concern through the following link: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/liveid-signin Sincerely, Geraldine Online Safety Team |
Up until Oct. 1st I was able to send and receive emails in my windows live account. Now I can only send from this account and this error message comes up every time:
Unable to receive messages for the philsp account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.
Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR invalid user name or password.

I have read the other posts, tried all of the suggested things, checking the correct settings, clicking on the right boxes, even speaking with my internet provider who checked everything on their end (which there is nothing wrong with my provider as I can both send and receive my email through them). I have deleted the account and added it back to no avail. I have yet to see anything on the forums that has worked. I spoke to Microsoft twice and went through 3 different email correspondences, and their solution was for me to post my problem to a forum. This was the response I got all three times:
I received the notification a few days ago that my SkyDrive account has been taken offline for suspicious activity or a violation of Microsoft's Terms of Use agreement or Code of Conduct. It really surprised me to see this, because I use my SkyDrive for all of my file storage needs. I haven't been on SkyDrive for a couple of weeks due to travelling, so I don't see how I could've violated anything. I submitted a ticket to the Online Safety Team and never got a response back within the "24 hour" time period. My wife & son have access to my SkyDrive and occasionally uses it for sharing pics with family members. I re-submitted another request today to have my SkyDrive account unlocked. It's really frustrating to have this happen without warning or notice so that people can actually look at their own account and try to fix the issue themselves. If you could please look into this, I would great appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
