How do I turn off Google Chrome’s spell-check feature when I’m composing an email on my Hotmail account or when using Microsoft Office?

Although the Google Chrome spell-check feature is probably well-intended, it can be annoying since I know that the text I'm using is correct...does anybody know how to turn it off?
