I can't send or receive new emails and when i open Outlook, I get this "Enter Your Network Password" which is prefilled with that info. How do i fix this?
Original title: Cant send or receive emails
I'm getting an expired certificate message for one of my directory services (LDAP/SSL) each time I open Outlook. I've verified that the server in question is presenting a valid certificate, and there is no sign of this expired cert anywhere in my keychain,
so it appears that Outlook is caching this somewhere. Where, and how do I clear that cache or delete the bad certificate?
Paulesso,
Question: I have IE8 and whenever I open Outlook, I can see the emails but can't open them nor can I select any emails for action i.e. move or delete. Please advise.
Sincerely,
Tony Garcia
I have to re-enter my account settings every time I open Outlook in order to receive emails but when I close it, the account is deleted again. Please help!
Thank you for the advice. My MacBook wouldn't allow me to follow all the steps you recommended but I eventually found the Microsoft Database Utility, highlighted the only identity listed as "main identity"and clicked on "rebuild". This seems to have worked and my email account no longer disappears when I close Outlook. Thank you again.

I opened up Outlook for Mac version 2011. I have never used it before. I tried to set up an exchange account and it failed. Now when I open Outlook, I cannot find out how to try and set up an exchange account again. I tried under tools, but there is
no option vailable. How do I try and set up an exchange account again after I have already opened Outloo once and failed?

When I try to email a file from an open program, Outlook starts to open and then closes. I am able to manually open Outlook and then paste the file or link. I don’t remember changing anything that would have caused this to happen. This has been an ongoing
issue for about a month. Thanks for everyone’s help.
Recently when I open Outlook, the box that reads "Setting up identity" indicates a name other than mine
When I click on "About Outlook" a different name, other than mine, is listed in the box under "This product is licensed to"
When I print an email message, the name of the same person (not mine) appears in the header
I am puzzled and don't know who this persons name got on all those. The mystery person has never been to my house or touched my computer.
Is there a way I can delete the mysterious name and add mine?
Help!

I cannot open Outlook. Might be related to a power failure while it was open in the background as it was working prior but when I came back to the machine and found it was shutdown I restarted the system. After re-start the Outlook issue has come up. I
see from other threads that the solutions mentioned don't apply with Exchange Server use so not sure what to do. I'm using Mac OS X Version 10.7.5
I am using Outlook 2011. My identity file is 1.36 gigabytes, but when I open Outlook, it is not showing any of my contacts or emails. Help!
