How do I minimize live mail to the tray so I don’t show an open program in the task bar?

With outlook express you used to be able when minimizing the application it would keep running but be sent to the tray and not the main task bar.
Now I can't find out how to still do that with Windows Live Mail.

So...how do I do it?

Outlook wont automatically open

When I try to email a file from an open program, Outlook starts to open and then closes. I am able to manually open Outlook and then paste the file or link. I don’t remember changing anything that would have caused this to happen. This has been an ongoing issue for about a month. Thanks for everyone’s help.

Re problem with Windows Live Mail

I have windows live mail running; when I am finished and want to close the program, I click the x, and it will not close.  I have to click the - and that puts the open program on my taskbar, then I close the program from there.  Why will clicking the x not close the program? Thanks
