I'm running OSX Mavericks and Office for Mac 2011 and I'm able to add my outlook.com account easy enough for mail but it only provides the option to sync mail and notes in the internet preferences settings. How can I add calendar and contacts?

Hi all,

Once upon a time 2 Mac running OSX Mavericks in a Windows network. Both of them are configured with an Exchange 2010 SP3 account under Outlook for Mac 2011.

One of these 2 Mac does not encounter any issue with Outlook.

The other randomly and frequently prompts Kerberos credentials at Outlook's startup. The only work around : reboot the Mac one or several times... In fact, we have to reboot it because when this issue occurs, even if the credentials are correct, Outlook refuses to connect to Exchange.

The Exchange account flawlessly runs with Outlook 2010 under Windows 7, and equally via OWA. I've already deleted the configuration of Outlook for Mac and recreated this account, but without success.

I've seen this post : http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/13893a48-80d3-43e1-ab39-02a99c19f993/outlook-2011-for-mac-prompts-for-exchange-password-and-then-fails-to-sync-even-though-outlook?forum=exchange2010, but I don't think this solution is necessary and relevant in my case.

Would you have an idea about this ?

Thanks. Have a good day.

Using the latest version of Outlook 2011 on OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 linked to a Exchange Server.

On my iPad and iPhone using the TaskTask App all my Tasks and Flagged items display correctly as they are using OWA.

In Outlook 2011 there are flagged messages missing, tasks due in future are mixed in with todays tasks despite the order being set to Due By. The list flashes and takes focus back to top item intermittently.

Any ideas as to why Outlook 2011 is not displaying the data it holds in the server and correctly displays on Apps and OWA?

A recent upgrade to OSX Mavericks has disabled the Synch Services function in Outlook for Mac 2011.  Apples says that Microsoft has known about this change and that Microsoft will have to provide new functionality to enable iCloud synch services.  Has anyone figured out a way to make synch work in this environment?
The Microsoft Skydrive Download for Mac does not yet apparently work for OSX Mavericks?  The link goes here:

And downloads nothing.  Is the Mavericks version available?  If not anyone know ETA?

Please let us know when the 'fix' or upgrade will be ready to overcome the worldwide problem of repeated account connection errors in Outlook which began the moment we upgraded to OSX Mavericks on our iMac and Macbook Pro.  Thank you.
I keep getting this error message

Unable to open “Hotmail”
The connection to the server “imap.glbdns2.microsoft.com” on port 993 timed out.

I know all the settings and passwords are entered correctly because the "connection doctor" feature shows that both IMAP and SMTP connections are successful.

I can also see the mails in all my folders on my hotmail account EXCEPT inbox. So sent folder, junk mail, trash, misc. folders all show the correct emails, just the inbox is blank
I'm a newbie when it comes to Outlook.com  -- I have a Mac with OSX Mavericks. I travel all over the place and find it hard to try and sync my mail from one device to another.  I've added my corporate email now to Outlook.com while on the road, and need to know if I send email/receive email to/from my corporate account using Outlook.com, when I go to my office, will that email magically appear in Outlook for Mac?  If so, will it replicate on a Macbook Por and Mac Mini using Outlook for Mac?  I know it sounds absurd, but I've been having to use Gotomypc to get into my email remotely, and now with the latest release of Mavericks, GOTOMYPC does not work so well.  So --need to come up with a solution.
I currently use Mac Mail , but can't open it on two devices, as for it will not populate both systems to sync properly.

So, I'm hoping that Outlook.com will work when i travel and get firewalled, and once back in the office, I can download everything or have everything magically appear on my Outlook for Mac.

Lastly, can you add an image in the signature line of outlook.com mail?

Appreciate any assistance on this.

Thanks,

S
