All the info is in the .pst file, but I gather that only Outlook can open this ; does anybody know how I can transfer the Calender and e-mails?
Thanks in hopeful anticipation,
Arthur
I used the "outlook converter" in my outlook 2003 desktop progran to link with my outlook.com account, I can see all my incoming mail in both my desktop 2003 and outlook.com inboxes...how do I set it up to sync both together..so if I read mail from outlook.com or my desktop outlook 2003, emails will delete together, or be dragged to my in box sub directries...so that both will be in sync
I access outlook.com from my windows laptop and my iphone
Outlook 2003 - will no longer print e-mails, in or out.
Whats the fix?
Installed Office Hoome and Business 2013. Transferred documents (Word, Excel) to new software from Office 2003. Cannot export contacts or calendar information from 2003 to 2013. Get "Operation Failed" when I try Import/Export.
I just switched from pc to a new mac pro laptop. I have installed office 2011 for mac. I have previously been using office 2003 with Outlook 2003 gathering email from multiple email accounts . I exported a PST file from Personal Folders in Outlook 2003. I then imported that PST file into Outlook 2001 mac. This only imported emails, and did not import contacts or e-mail account setups. I was okay with that and imported contacts using a separate export of contacts in a text file. I set up the email accounts from scratch in Outlook 2011 mac. My problem is that after I turned on the Account column on the mail item list, the email accounts are not listed for any of the imported email. The Account column is blank for all imported emails. The accounts do show for the new mail that is arriving. Is there any way to get the email accounts displayed in the account column for the imported emails from outlook 2003?
The error I get -
Task 'xxxxxxxx - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
I am configured to use pop3.live.com port 995 using SSL and smtp.live.com port 587 using SSL. I was able to send and receive email from Office Outlook 2003 prior to Friday, although it was frequently flakey. I have not changed any email settings that I am aware of. At first I thought I had perhaps changed a firewall setting or something. But then I noticed that my Android 4.1.2 phone email also is unable to reach the servers. It was configured similarly as my Outlook 2003.
I have contacted my ISP and they claim that they are doing nothing that would block access to the servers. Any ideas from the community? Thanks.
Hello,
At my workplace we have some PC computers running outlook 2003, and some Mac computers, running outlook 2011. I am trying to share folders from an outlook 2003 account on PC, and have them visible on the Mac outlook 2011 account.
Ideally I need to be able to open a secondary calendar subfolder, but I am actually unable to open ANY shared folders.
I know the complicated process for sharing subfolders, and have executed this between multiple 2003 PC users, but am thus far unable to do it on a Mac. Here is what have tried:
I have given the 2011 mac user permission as an editor to my calendar, and my mailbox, and had that user try to "open a shared calendar" and "open a shared inbox"
I have made the 2011 mac user a delegate with editor access to my mailbox and calendar, and then had that user add me in "users I am a delegate for" and then try to open my mailbox and calendars.
In both cases I do not get any error messages, but nothing happens - no folders appear, no "shared folders" drop-down appears on the navigation bar. Nothing - I click okay, the window closes and nothing is different.
If I go to send an e-mail on the other user's computer, I can select myself to send the e-mail from, but when I send the e-mail I get a "Unknown error has occured in outlook" -19992 message.
I have tried quiting and reopening outlook on both accounts multiple times.
Thank you in advance for all your help!
