Suddenly when I open Outlook 2010, I get an error 4202 when Outlook tries to synch with my Outlook.com account. I have cleared the safe and blocked senders box.  I have deleted the account in Outlook 2010 and reinstalled it.  I have uninstalled the Hotmail connector and reinstalled it. I've shut down Outlook 2010 during or after each of these steps.

I continue to get the error. It appears as if all the folders and emails are IN Outlook 2010 correctly. When I send an email through the Outlook.com website, it does appear in the Outlook 2010 folder.  When I send an email through Outlook 2010 using my Outlook.com account, that works.

So why does it give me a synch error?

Hello,

I have Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2011 for Mac. 2010 and 2013 work just fine, but when I try and add my Yahoo (ymail) account or even my Live account for Mac 2011 it just densest work? All the settings are exactly the same as is for my Windows based Outlooks. I just don't get it? My Google (gmail) accounts are the only thing I can get working. They have the green little icon next to them, but for the Live I get non or yellow icon and for Yahoo I get none.

Thanks =(
I use Outlook 2011 for Mac and have access when required to Outlook 2010 for Windows.

If I *insert* (so by that I mean I click on the Picture button to embed) an image into my email - it shows up huge.  By that - I mean the picture that should be say 300x300 px - looks more like double it, as if it's tried to zoom the image.  If I save, send, etc - it looks the same.

However - if I save it as a draft, and then load it up in Outlook 2010 for Windows - it looks perfectly normal and as I would expect.  When I send it - Mac clients have a huge image and have to scroll around, Windows clients see it as it should be - normally sized.

Why does the Mac version of Outlook insist on blowing my pictures out of proportion and making my life difficult?

Thanks

/C.
Right...

At work we have a couple of top-brass that use MacBook's (because they like the look of them) but run pretty much all the software through Parallels and Windows 7 (not boot camp).  As technicians we are trying to move these guys from Outlook 2007 / 2010 on Parallels to native Outlook 2011 on OS X which it appears they are happy to do.

Their PA's run Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 and our senior IT management are worried that there are compatibility issues between the two versions of Outlook on the two different platforms so are hesitant to let us move them onto Outlook 2011 and get rid of Parallels.

As Outlook is merely a front-end to our Exchange server I can't see how there could be any issues with the PA's managing the appointments and email for the top guys but I'm wanting to hear if anyone has had any issues or if there is anything to be aware of.
I have sended a mail before completion and want get it i back before it is opened by the receipients. Is this possible?

The Mailaccount is hosted on Exchange 2010-Server. And I know with Outlook 2010 it is possible.

Kind regards,

Harald Bauer
I have folders for emails from specific users under the 'On My Computer' directory in my Outlook.
These are imported from Outlook 2010 on a Windows PC.
My inbox is now flooded and when I select an email, create the rule
"From Is (person)
Move to Folder"
It asks you to select the folder and search for it. It doesn't matter what name I type in, none of them show up.

Help!?

(would attach a screen shot but do not see the option)
I exported Outlook Contacts from Outlook 2010 (Win 7) as a .csv file, and no matter what I try, I just get blank Contacts listed. However, I can use the Contact Search functionality to find particular contacts, and the information is displayed normally in the Contact Search box. So how do I get the contact info to display in Contacts main window?

Here's how things look:

Is there a way to transfer the autocomplete contacts from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2011 MAC?  I understand that Outlook 2010 doesn't have NK2 files anymore and I believe it uses a Streaming autocomplete .dat file.  Is there anyway to manually transfer that over?
