Hello

I have several Google accounts and want to use Outlook in Office 2011 to manage them on my mac.

I have purchased an Office 365 annual license and installed Office 2011.

I have set up my accounts and all the email is coming through.

However, I could not sync contacts - but I have resolved that by a tiresome export and import.

The remaining issue is my Outlook calendar. Only the meetings that have invites still in my inbox are showing. None of the (plenty of) other existsing calendar entries in my Google calendar are showing. Most of the existing entries are repeating occurances (if that makes any difference) also a number are appointments just for me rather than meetings with other attendees.

Also I notice that if I create a calendar event in Outlook it only shows there an does not appear in my Google calendar. I cant see which (if any) of the Google email accounts the Outlook calendar is associated with.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Quite possibly user error, though I think I followed the set up instructions correctly.

Thnaks in advance,

Richard

The Macbook previously had Office 2011 installed on it with all updates. I purchased Office 365 Personal so I would be able to install Office on the iPad and share my Outlook Calendar and Contact data. I was planning to install OWA onto the iPad and thereby keep my contacts and calendar in sync.

I successfully added the account information to Outlook 2011 as directed. However, a yellow dot remains beside the account in the Outlook preferences, indicating it is not connecting. Therefore the information in Outlook is not being uploaded. I have tried adjusting settings to no avail.

I did some research and found one article that suggested this wouldn't work with Outlook 2011 and another suggesting an additional purchase was needed. If so that was not made very clear. Can anyone assist?

We have three iMac computers and one macbook pro running outlook and a hosted microsoft exchange. two of the iMacs are running microsoft 360 while the other one and the laptop are using microsoft for mac 2011. We all have the same email address synced to our computers but the two with Microsoft 360 are not syncing with the other calendar and contacts. We can't see what the other add or take away. They are all syncing correctly otherwise. How can we get the calendars and contacts sync correctly?

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm looking for an option to allow me to sync my Outlook calendar with my iPhone & iPad and vice-versa.

Was told that Exchange ActiveSync would allow this.  My question is, how does this work?

Looks to me as if I create another email account but how does this account get me the calendar events from Outlook to the iPhone / iPad?  Do I just add the account to Outlook and when I create a cal event, it is based on this new account?  So, when I set it up on the iPhone / iPad, I just have it sync the Cal too?

If so, how does one create a cal event in Outlook for a particular account?

Or am I missing some of the basics?

Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to sync the SkyDrive calendar with your Office for Mac 2011 Outlook calendar?

Thanks very much

When I send or receive a meeting cancellation in Office 2011 for Mac, the e-mail cancellation sends and looks as expected. However, the actual meeting in the calendar does not get updated? Other updates seem to go through, but cancellations do not update the meeting title or modify the meeting block to show as free.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Macbook Pro w/Outlook 2011.  User has one (of many) recurring meetings he accepted (a weekly meeting) and it shows fine in his Outlook calendar (setup for Exchange).

This one recurring meeting does NOT show up on the users' iPhone or in OWA (meaning it is not on the Exchange server).

How can I get this one recurring meeting to sync (or at least get moved) to his calendar on the Exchange server so it can sync to his iPhone?

Asking the person who originated the meeting to re-invite is not an option.

Thank you.
I receive calendar .ics files via email attachment on a regular basis from one of my customers which are generated from Apple's iCal. When I receive the email on my iPad and tap the .ics file to add it to my calendar it is added successfully and appears on the iPad calendar but it never appears in my Outlook calendar. There are no other issues with the Outlook calendar apart from these .ics file generated appointments not flowing through to Outlook.

If I manually create appointments on the iPad they appear on Outlook within seconds typically, but for some reason that I can't understand these .ics files appointments don't flow through. I've noticed that I cannot "edit" these appointments either on the iPad - there is no "edit" button when I view these appointments, unlike other appointments that have an edit button where I can change the date/time etc.

Anyone come across this before or know why these appointments won't flow through to Outlook (they are added to the correct calendar on the iPad)?

I have current versions of all software on the Mac and iPad is on the latest version of iOS 7.
I was setting up my events in my Outlook Calendar (2011 for Mac) and my events reoccur over a long period of time (February to April). When looking ahead, I noticed that after March 9 (which is when spring forward takes place) all of my events got pushed forward an hour. For example, events that take place at 8 now show up at 9 in my calendar. Is there a setting where I can change this back to the time it is supposed to be at so that outlook doesn't automatically account for spring forward? Or do I manually have to change all of the times on my events?
In my Outlook calendar, I created some additional categories for different work events, each with their own name and color on my calendar.

Sync Services is ON.

When I went to synch my outlook calendar with my Blackberry, it looks like 10,000 or more new calendar items were created on my Outlook calendar. My Outlook calendar is a mess.  It think the problem is with iCal.

It looks like all of the recurring events were duplicated 10 - 20 times each, including holidays.

I have turned OFF Sync Services.

I have two questions.

1 - Is anyone else having this problem?

2 - I have a Apple Time Capsule.  Is there a way I can go back to my Outlook calendar before this problem started today?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
