Calendar sharing not working

Greetings - 
I have tried to share my Live.com / Outlook calendar with a google account I own but I get the following error:

"Sorry, this invitation isn't valid anymore. The sender may have taken away your permission, or you may have already declined this invitation. If you'd like to see this calendar, ask its owner to share it with you again."

Since I am both the sender and the recipient this makes no sense.   I have also tried to re-send, paste the accept link and use via links, all to no avail.
Please advise.

I recently had to re-install by Windows 7 OS to correct some corruption in the registry.  As part of that re install,I had to re-install Windows 365 as well.
(I've been a subscription user of Office 365 since March 2013).  When I re-established my outlook calendar (I forgot to save my outlook files before replacing the  OS) I noticed two things.  No more could I use categories for my calendar entries and the use of more than one color on the calendar was not possible.  I tried to add the categories function to the tool bar, but it limited itself to "New Tab".  I don't  even know how to access this "new tab"

I simply don't see how it is possible for the formatting of the basic program to change  upon re-install of the central software.

Outlook calendar no longer syncing with iCloud after upgrading to Mavericks

Apparently SyncServices no longer works with Outlook to sync my calendar with my iCloud calendar. I have to keep using Outlook since 99% of businesses use it for meeting invites. Other than forwarding all the meeting invites to my iCloud, is there another way to sync?

Can i somehow see task in View : Week or Day? Or only way to see that is from View: Tasks? For example as it is in google calendar.

For example in mobile app its possible, tasks are displayed on top of day calendar.

I have multiple calendars in my outlook.com account - personal, work, holiday, birthdays, etc. Only my primary (personal) outlook calendar is syncing to my android phone. How can I get all of them to sync, or do I just have to use one for everything if I want my appointments to show up in my phone? I  am just syncing the account to my phone, not using the Outlook app because I prefer to have a combines inbox with all of my various accounts rather than having to open multiple apps to check each one. Email syncs just fine and so does the main calendar, but the work calendar not syncing is a problem.

I want to share the outlook calendar to my mac pc as I am using Windows Phone, but copying the share link of iCal from the website didn't work for me. Mac calendar says the server is not responding.

Apparently we are having an issue with the Outlook Calendar.  Every time we click on the Calendar function it seems to be attempting to log in or something and then returns an error message stating that it was having a problem and could not access the Calendar and to try again later.  Have been attempting to access the Calendar all day - approximately 12 hours now and still get the same error message.  Under support it only indicates that the Calendar function was or would be down for maintenance on 23 Oct 2013, but since it is 25 Oct - not sure what is occurring.  All other functions Mail, People, SkyDrive seem to be working normally.  Any one else experiencing this issue or does anyone know if the issue is being addressed.

I am new to Outlook and would like to know if and how to synk my Google Calendar with Hotmail Calendar.  Anyone out there that could help me???
