For the last three days, I have been receiving duplicate emails in my outlook.com account. I have checked my Outlook client, and my email account is not set up on it. I have checked the Windows Live Mail client, and the email account is not set up in
that. I did have a Yahoo mail account forwarding to my outlook, but I have even stopped that in an attempt to fix the duplicate email problem. No luck. For that reason, I don't think it's a POP issue.
If I send an email to myself, I get three copies of it--2 received and a copy of the sent mail--in my inbox. I always get a copy in my inbox of a mail I've sent. I do NOT get duplicate copies of Facebook emails (oddly), but get two copies of all other emails
sent to me, including Amazon, personal emails, etc.
There are no other accounts set up in my email. Also, when adding my account to my Windows phone, I cannot add it as an Outlook account. It will only work as a Hotmail account. My account was recently affected by the Outlook outage that lasted a couple of
days, and then I got an influx of 500+ emails (all copies of old emails--even deleted ones) after my email started working again. The duplicate emails started after this influx of emails.
I have also tried changing my password, etc. I have no idea how to solve this problem, as I've tried everything I've read, and I'm getting tired of getting two copies of every email and a copy of every email I send to someone else. Anyone know how to fix
this?
Hi Guys,
I have a range of email folders in my Outlook.com account. I have moved some of the folders in my outlook client on my laptop, but those moves are not reflected in Outlook.com. How do I ensure that any changes to the folder tree structure I make in Outlook are reflected in Outlook.com?
local outlook client says my email address in unavailable and is not sending, receiving, or syncing.
I am trying to connect my Outlook 2013 client to my newly created custom outlook.com domain. I have successfully setup my custom domain, and am able to send/receive email from outlook.com (browser). I cannot seem to connect my local Outlook client.
I have setup a CNAME record for mail.<customdomain>.com, which points to go.domains.live.com. When I try to setup a OUtlook.com connection in Outlook 2013, it fails to connect with a "Cannot find server" message.
Mac 2011 Outlook client is adding blocked email address to its blocked list but (1) it is not blocking emails from email addresses saved in the client blocked senders list and (2) the Outlook client blocked senders list is not being synced with Exchange. If I use Outlook web everything works properly.
I've added a POP3 account (hotmail) into my Outlook Client. My emails are coming in, but my calendar is not synching. Since these are both Microsoft products, I would expect that there is a way to synch my Hotmail (now Outlook) calendar with my Outlook
client. Can you help and thanks.
2nd time this has happened since I installed Mountain Lion on my 15" MacBook Air.
When I create tasks in Outlook and click save, the tasks do not appear on my Outlook client. However, the task DOES appear on the server as I can see the task when I login to my webmail account.
I also created a task on the server via my WebMail account and it does not appear on my Outlook client either. Mail and Calendar are working perfectly.
I already tried rebuilding my identity and creating a new identity. Neither fixed the problem.
Appreciate any help. I'm losing faith in you MS.
