I am unable to send email messages in outlook.  I am receiving messages okay but all of my sent messages go into an outlook file.  Can someone help me?
Tried https://commerce.microsoft.com as recommended in the 'no reply' email I received, but encountering problem verifying who I am?? Have had this email acct for over 10 years. Why are they making such a big deal out of a simple cc verification? What's with the Code thing? I can't afford to wait for the 30 days they say it takes to verify everything, I may lose my only email account with tons of letters, etc. stored there.

REPOST:  I use WLM as my desktop client for email at Comcast.net. I am now switching my email accounts from Comcast.net to Outlook.com. During the transition I have set my outlook.com account to send and receive the email at Comcast so that I only have to log into Outlook.com to see both accounts.

I notice that any Comcast emails retrieved through the Outlook.com account have a yellow banner across the top saying Unknown Sender. I can either ignore it or pick Allow Sender. It does this for every email, even if from the same sender.

When I send an email from my Outlook.com email either to Comcast or Outlook email there is no banner on the received message, but there is a banner on the copy in the sent folder.

I do not see any banner when I use the web based Outlook, only WLM.

I have tried the mentioned repair option with no results.

Hi,
I have been using the email account since maybe june this year. Last week though i noticed that i was no longer getting push email through to my phone. When i logged into outlook.com the account reset itself and all emails sent and received have been lost. The account has quite literally reset itself including the famous welcome to outlook email. I would like to know how to retrieve all the lost information on the account as this is a very important email account.

Thanks

Michael

Hi

I had logged a case with the Microsoft team regarding some issues with my email account, for some reason after it was spammed Microsoft has ever since would keep asking me to reset my password.  It was getting to the point where I was setting a new password several times a day, however I can still access my email.  Microsoft has sent me several responses regarding this case and when I follow the link from my actiongirl5 account it just states that this email is not allowed to view the case.  I even emailed Microsoft telling them this and they sent me back another reply that I cannot access................I am not entirely sure why.  I have also had replies from moderator of this forum that seem to just send me around in a circle, tell me things I already know or do not read my post properly.

So far I have spent over a week trying to resolve this issue yet know one seems to have the answer, surely I am not the only one this has happened to.

When I log in to my Outlook email, I always get the "you're logged into Office 365" message. I click the log-out there and log in to my Outlook, but the same message keeps coming back. I have to check this because it's my primary personal email and this delay is bugging me.

What do I do? I usually leave my account logged in from my laptop at home. I like to log into same account to do some Bing searching at the nearby college computer lab. This only happened recently, and I don't have an Office 365 account at all, never ordered that software.

Thanks!
