When I go to my "new" page to write an email:  there is no autofill when I start to write in email recipients who are in my Contacts, or whom I've written to before.  If I hit the "to" button, nothing happens, I do not access my contacts. This was working fine until a few days ago.
any help?
I've opened a new Outlook email account for a specific purpose and would like to transfer all the messages in my existing/old account, that pertain to that subject, to this new one.

If I "Forward" them, then the sender becomes me, and I want to retain the original senders info.

Any suggestions?

I can send emails via Outlook 2010, but my incoming mail is not transferred over to Outlook 2010 in box - Regards Alan
A few months ago, when accessing my outlook email at mail.umkc.edu, I got an error message that said the following:
This account can't be used to access Outlook.com
You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

I have no clue what office 365 is. I don't use anything like that. I have a hotmail account of my own, and one through my school. The school has told us nothing about Office 365. I don't even have a current version of office on my computer. This was a random message. I fought with it for awhile, using different browsers, dumping all my cache and history, gave up, and went to bed. Next morning, like magic, it worked again.
Last night. 9/12/2013, a friend posted on facebook that her outlook account was also down, with the same weird Office 365 message. She also does not use office 365 anything, but it was a .edu address. I told her about my experience, we hunted for a solution, and then she decided to wait. It was worrisome, as she couldn't do anything with her online classes, get emails from staff, etc.  All we found were references to it being a *.edu problem, but no fixes, and the reports went back months to years.
Today, mine is now dead again. I am getting the same message, about something called "office 365."  My other hotmail account logged in fine. But the school account? Completely unaccessible. Not by chrome, not by firefox, not by IE. As that's how I get my work notifications, this is a big problem.
I open outlook. I enter in my email address, @mail.umkc.edu and I type in the password. And then...Office 365 error.
I have hunted through the forums and there is no working solution to this, the link to a page that fixes it directs somewhere that no longer exists, and this seems to have been an ongoing problem for a year-plus. Is there any solution? Or do I just have to wait until it somehow begins to function again, and hope it's not five days or two weeks down the road? Is it my school messing up on their end, or a microsoft bug? As it's Friday afternoon and they've all gone home, I can't even get ahold of the UMKC tech support for this. Can I fix this? Can MS fix this? Or is the problem on the school's end, in which case I am entirely out of luck?
my OUTLOOK email home page is garbled. where can I get help?

I use IE, Firefox & Chrome on my PC.  Why do outlook crashes Internet Explorer 9 & 10, but it doesn't happen with Firefox and Chrome?  This has been an issue for me and many others (as noticed on online messages and forums) since its introduction; and it seems that Outlook can't sort it, in spite of all the complaints.  I spent many hours trying everything to sort it, with advice from Outlook and other online messages/forums!  And the thing is; one can't revert to Hotmail!  This is stupid!!!  Outlook should sort this issue; or make it so that people can revert back to Hotmail, at least until this issue/fault is solved!  Outlook, get your act together!!!  Or, maybe I should use another mail client like Yahoo, Google, etc.

I contacted this Hotmail No. 0800 048 8163 for help and they were trying to sort problem out remotely over the internet, by using http://www.ammyy.com/en/ and http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx then told me there would be a charge for the service.  So I declined and stopped the process, as I don’t see why I have to pay...

Several emails were sent to my Outlook 2010 from an iPhone. Each email has one attached picture. I want to save these pictures in My Pictures, which is part of Office 2010. How do I do that?

I have always used Windows Mail for my emails from any email account that I had. I have now set up an outlook.com email account, and want to view these in my Windows Mail. I have had difficulty in contacting outlook to get my outlook email address server names which I believe I need. I require both the incoming and outgoing server names. When I try to ask outlook, it just tells me to ask the community, which I am now doing.

Please can someone out there help me in as simple a way as you can? I shall be eternally grateful.

Thank you.
