The problem occured when I tried to send a photgraph to my cousin in Texas. Since Windows 7 I've never really been able to successfully send photo attachments with an email. No problems with Outlook Express but no joy with Windows7.

The error message tells me to delete and start again - but I can't find the original to delete it. Maybe being 77 years old has something to do with it. I would very much appreciate any help you can offer.

When will Windows live mail (Desktop) new version be available?

Secondly will this app be available or discontinued like outlook express?

Whether social updated will be available in future or not.

I am using this app since last 3 years and like very much. I do not like to switch outlook 2013 on Win 8.

I bought a laptop with win 8 and thinking whether to choose Win 8 mail app, WLM 2012 or Outlook 2013.

I have to configure my email, If this would be discontinued in near future than should I start to use outlook 2013.

I successfully moved from Outlook Express on an XP system - porting archived messages, etc.  Overall Live Mail is working, but I'm noticing some isolated issues. (1) At times I get a duplicated inbox message. On the second copy the message's title is in quotes.  (2) Occasionally I am unable to delete a message from my inbox. If I move the message to another folder, I can delete it.  (3) At times when I send a message, it is sent but my retained copy appears in my sent folder as an unopened message.  (4) This is the most troubling issue: Yesterday I tried opening a message from a trusted sender, but was unable to open it. Instead I got the message "A problem occurred trying to open the message. Try again".  Trying again didn't help. I tried moving the message to another folder, but still couldn't open it. I couldn't look at the properties on the message - I got the same "problem occurred " message. I was able to delete the message.

The first three issues are annoying, but not impossible to work around.  The fourth issue is a real problem.  Has anyone else encountered it?  Is there a fix?  I was quite pleased for the first 6-7 weeks I've been running the Live Mail, but the issues are escalating in severity.  Can I expect worse things?  Thanks for any insights you can share!

Original title: Issues with Windows Live Mail on System 7

Until 2 weeks ago I had my hotmail account, then Outlook Express advertised that they could work alongside Hotmail. I applied and everything was installed, except I DON`T LIKE IT, please how can I reverse to my `old faithful` hotmail system.

EARLIER TODAY I STALLED EXPLORER 10 AND IT KNOCKED OUT MY "SPELL CHECK ICON" IN OUTLOOK

THIS IS OUTLOOK WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY HOTMAIL.............NO OUTLOOK EXPRESS

I'VE BEEN ON THE PHONE WITH MICROSOFT FOR HOURS AND GETTING NOWHERE... ALL I NEED IS SOMETHING SIMPLE AS THAT.

THANK YOU

I bought Mac Air last year and Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 last May, could not work with Mac Mail so have decided to install Outlook Express and wanted to purchase it but before I could go to purchase page it asks me my product key but it does not accept the Product Key.  Please help.

I am facing the automatic transition from hotmail to outlook. My wife utilizes outlook express, which was an installed program in her Gateway Windows XP computer.  When we had a computer crash, my wife lost all her outlook records for several months, and this is a problem. If the new outlook program is still accessed remotely online as my current hotmail program is, then it won't be an issue. Any input?
