I successfully moved from Outlook Express on an XP system - porting archived messages, etc. Overall Live Mail is working, but I'm noticing some isolated issues. (1) At times I get a duplicated inbox message. On the second copy the message's title is in
quotes. (2) Occasionally I am unable to delete a message from my inbox. If I move the message to another folder, I can delete it. (3) At times when I send a message, it is sent but my retained copy appears in my sent folder as an unopened message. (4) This
is the most troubling issue: Yesterday I tried opening a message from a trusted sender, but was unable to open it. Instead I got the message "A problem occurred trying to open the message. Try again". Trying again didn't help. I tried moving the message to
another folder, but still couldn't open it. I couldn't look at the properties on the message - I got the same "problem occurred " message. I was able to delete the message.
The first three issues are annoying, but not impossible to work around. The fourth issue is a real problem. Has anyone else encountered it? Is there a fix? I was quite pleased for the first 6-7 weeks I've been running the Live Mail, but the issues
are escalating in severity. Can I expect worse things? Thanks for any insights you can share!
