Should I use Outlook express, or go to Skype or use both, what's the difference between the two?

I have tried to remove Outlook Express from directions that I received through the internet, but it is still there. I HATE Outlook Express. It is user unfriendly. Please help me. Thank you. Jan Baxa
In Outlook Express I received messages by date received. In Live Mail I'm getting them listed alphabetically, which I don't like. How to change?
Older versions of Outlook Express & Entourage had options to stop incoming emails from selected accounts. I only want my office emails to show up on my laptop when I'm traveling. Can't seem to find this feature anywhere in Outlook 2011.
Is there anyway to customize live mail screen? All of the options have been taken away from us. I would rather have a choice than "NO" Choice. I don't use twitter or facebook and would prefer to get rid of those programs. I like the three calendar display
for long range plans, and live only has one calendar and displays redundant calendar information on valuable real estate. I like outlook express and then outlook and all those choices have been removed. If there is an option, I sure would like to know how
to do it. Thanks
