It could be that at times the yahoo.com is the default sending alias I'm not sure but its annoying as all heck... my yahoo mail in yahoo, and my outlook mail in outlook (and gmail in gmail for that matter but those two aren't linked in anyway)
Anyone know how to set this up???
Hello,
I have problem to log in to my outlook account. When I do log in, this error occurs:
This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

I asked this last night but not sure if it posted, all I got was an answer already there, but didn't seem to fit. I'm still confused. My hotmail is changing to outlook.com (I understand that). But, I already have a separate email set up, via OFFICE Outlook 2007, using my ISP (charter.net) address. What will happen with the hotmail acct when it changes to outlook? I''m thinking I will have to do something to have it all come in my OIffice Outlook mail account, along with the one I now have? One solution woudl be to delete the hotmail- new outlook one and just use the one through office, for everything? I started using hotmail because I like sending texts to phones through email, I used to use Yahoo for this but they stopped allowing it. I can also send texts via email from my Office Outlook setup, too. I'm sure this isn't as confusing as I'm seeing it and if I just wait and see maybe I will find out what happen when it changes. I'm tired of having something all set up and working and then it being changed (for whatever reason) even though people, overall, don't seem to want it different and liked it the way it was! I know, we hear it will be better and we'll get used to it, and it seems to be how it is with computers and internet...
(I am new to this forum and finding it confusing and not easy to use and figure out. Ask a Question seems to bring up answers to questions already asked, even though it doesn't seem to quite fit what I am asking. And I just wrote a long post in "ask a question" and turned out that was the TITLE and brought up a box to write the actual post in. Maybe I will know this after trying to use it awhile, but I have used forums all the years I've been online (around 15 now) and they don't have to be so complicated and hard to figure out LOL)
My Hotmail mail account was just converted to Outlook and it looks like the Web Messenger feature is missing. I had not seen any information on this going away. Is there any way to continue to access and use it? I found it very useful for IM with my family when on a work PC or other PC where I can't install Skype.
