More Settings
Connection
Outlook Anywhere
Check Connect to Microsoft Exchange by using Http
Click on Exchange Proxy Settings
Type in url in the next pagel
Does Mac office allow you to get email via http and if it does, where do we go to enable it?
Thanks,

I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED FROM XP3 TO A NEW COMPUTER WITH 365 PROGRAMS AND WINDOWS 8. PC WORLD TRANSFERRED MY FILES INCLUDING BOTH OUTLOOK(IN OUTLOOK PROGRAM) AND SEPARATELY HOTMAIL (IN MAIL AP) CONTACTS.
WHEN COMPOSING E-MAILS, THE 'ADDRESS BOOK' HAS NO ENTRIES AT ALL. XP HAD CONTACTS LISTS BOTH FROM OUTLOOK AND HOTMAIL AND THIS WAS VERY CONVENIENT FEATURE WHEN TRYING TO SEND MAIL TO SEVERAL CONTACTS AT A TIME.
QUESTION 1: IDEALLY I WOULD LIKE THE WINDOWS 8 'ADDRESS BOOK' TO PROVIDE THE SAME FACILITY. CAN IT?
IF NOT, I AM FINDING THAT THE AUTOMATIC PROVISION OF POSSIBLE NAMES IN THE 'TO' ROW IN THE NEW MESSAGE DOES NOT PROVIDE ALL THE NAMES OF EITHER OF MY LISTS. ( AND WHERE THE E-MAIL ADDRESS IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE NAMES OF THE PERSON, THE CONTACT IS NOT SUGGESTED AT ALL).
QUESTION 2; HOW DO I MAKETHE SUGGESTIONS COVER ALL THE NAMES?
Hello,
I have an issue that when I log into my Hotmail account, I see there are emails there that have not been delivered to my Outlook email program on my desktop.
Generally as of late, this is happening with usually just 1 person's messages in specific-which of course are important.
The other thing that I have noticed, is that I will see the bubble at the bottom corner of my screen indicating an email has come through from this specific person to my Outlook program, but lo and behold when I go to my Outlook that message is not there.
I would really appreciate your assistance.
Thank you very much.
Mack

Does anyone know what is causing this error?
I see similar problems in this community, but no solution that works.
Several days ago, the contacts on my windows 7 phone just disappeared. I can see all of my contacts in my outlook program on my PC and I can see all of them on my Live.com account when I login online on my computer. I made NO changes , downloads or updates to anything...phone, computer or live.com account.
Just to test what was happening...I added a new contact on my phone and it synced up and showed up on my live.com account on my computer and in my outlook program. However, I tried adding a contact via my live.com account on my computer, and it would NOT sync down to my phone.
After many syncs, that test contact that I added via my phone has also disappeared from my phone...but I can see still it on my computer via my outlook program or by signing into my live account on my computer.
Can someone at Microsoft Support fix my live .com account?
