At work we have a couple of top-brass that use MacBook's (because they like the look of them) but run pretty much all the software through Parallels and Windows 7 (not boot camp). As technicians we are trying to move these guys from Outlook 2007 / 2010
on Parallels to native Outlook 2011 on OS X which it appears they are happy to do.
Their PA's run Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 and our senior IT management are worried that there are compatibility issues between the two versions of Outlook on the two different platforms so are hesitant to let us move them onto Outlook 2011 and get rid
of Parallels.
As Outlook is merely a front-end to our Exchange server I can't see how there could be any issues with the PA's managing the appointments and email for the top guys but I'm wanting to hear if anyone has had any issues or if there is anything to be aware
of.
