I am trying to install MovieMaker on my daughter's laptop. In order do that, I must first install Windows Essentials. The install stops and asks her to sign in to her Windows account, then says she needs parental permission. I dont see a way to give that parental permission, so we cannot proceed with the install process. How can I give parental permission?

Hi. I saw this posted in the past and I have a similiar problem since 10/4 (Friday). I accidently changed my account (AGE setting), now it's thinks I'm a minor and I need parental permission to my login. It says I need a parent to sign into the account
and grant permission to access email account. I am the parent and I have been using the this account for many years. It is important account I have all my family's smartphones using this account. Can someone please help me? I had to create another account

I created an outlook account for my daughter, and she is asked to get a parent's permission before logging in for the first time. I logged in with my account, answered the questions and entered my credit card information. I then got a message that the
service is temporarily unavailable, and my credit card was charged.
Twice.
Before I do this again, I would like to know that it's going to work.

I have not been able to access my hotmail account now for 3 days. I've gone through all the steps of a single use code (5 times now) reset my password multiple times, and even contacted Microsoft tech support for an answer but the only resolve I received
from them was to access this website and "a moderator would walk me through the process". Every time I log in, it states that I need "Parental Permission". I have been using this email account for over 10 years and being 60 years old, I don't think I need
my parents (who are dead now) permission to go online. If anyone else has been having this problem and has found a resolution for it, please let me know.

I've been trying to remove the parental permission from my Hotmail account for several days.
Now I have been told that I must answer some questions and my problem will be fixed. Only problem is
that I don't know what questions or where to find them. My account is a club and I need access to my
contacts. I am not a child and would gladly prove it, but keep getting directions to choose options that
either aren't available, can't find, would prefer not to do, or just plain can't figure out how to do them.
So Mike Tillman, tell me how to answer your questions, and I will gladly do so. Right now, I can't find them.

Somehow my account got changed to think that I'm a minor and I need parental permission to login. It says that I have to have a parent sign into their account and then give permission for me to access my account. And it also says that the parent has to
pay. The thing is, I am not a minor, I've been using the same account for everything for the last 10 years. So I don't think I should have to pay to get back to using something I've had for free.
