On my Outlook 2011 for Mac, when using my gmail account, it continues to ask me for my password after I have entered it. It is the correct password but it doesn't accept it. This is the message that I keep getting:

The server for account "Gmail" returned the error "[ALERT] Too many simultaneous connections. (Failure)." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

I only have two email accounts so I don't know why it continues to bring up this message. Can anyone help?
Until a few months ago, I was never asked to provide a password to download new emails. Since summer, 8 out of 10 times, a password is requested - I provide the correct one, but 9 out of 10 times, I'm informed that it is an incorrect password. It recognizes my password occasionally. What ???  How can I change my password to one Outlook will recognize, or even better, require no password since my computer is used only by me.
I reset my password last week and wrote it down, but this password does not work...what do I do, how do I contact Outlook support with help for this?
Fortunately, I can still view my inbox as I have the password saved in my browser settings, but still, I need to get it fixed as it would be a disaster otherwise.

I am on my wife's PC trying to reset her Outlook email/account on her new hard drive after the old one crashed. Since it was installed, she can't access her account using her old password.  I have tried several times get a new password, filled in the security codes gave Outlook my own Hotmail/Outlook address so they can email me to get a new password, but the options are not working. How can I do what was once a simple process?
