this is my wife hot mail because u gave me a link required to have a hotmail account and im asking for my password reset therefore i don't have access to my hotmail anyways again this is my wife's account the number u provided me for this issues is RE: SRX1183829061ID and my name is Richard S u should know the rest and i need u to communicate via my secondary email and ask me question about whats on my email account folders i can explain to u whats in the one any only folder i refer to in the id above and if u would only call me at home which u have the number for or email me asking me the question and give me a email i will get a response from and not a unmonitored one i could clear this all up pretty dare fast i keep telling the ppl its old info there and i really forget to change it and will make sure i do now i tell u please please please help me with this issue

I received a text message proporting to be Microsoft giving me a password reset 7 digit code. I also received a "Twitter" reset request in my hotmail account. Since I never requested a password reset and do not have a twitter account, what is going on?

Trying to sign into XBOX live and have forgotten my windows live password, when i try to get a reset password the email address that it wants to send a reset password link has been closed, so i tried to recover my password to be sent to a different email address but it says i havnet provided enough information for them to send me a password reset,

Hi. I forgot my password and was in-active for over a year and now when I password reset again it says WIndows live ID incorrect.

I acknowledge that my account has been removed and I would appreciate if I can have my account back. Please help me out to recover my account and password reset. Can't I recover all the email that were sent to me while I was inactive and offline IMs also?

Hacked Account… And a Bad Linked Account?

When I tried to log in, I clicked "forgot password" or whatever the link is. The password reset link was set to my other linked account, but it was also sent to a linked account that isn't mine. I went ahead with the password change anyway.
After logging in, I was shown the message saying that my account had been hacked and I needed to unblock my account with a code. However, the code could only be sent to the other linked account, the one that is not mine.
Any ideas on how I am supposed to fix this? I am so stumped, I've tried just about everything I can think of.

I was trying to set up a password reset account for my website using your SMTP server and kept getting an authentication error. After exhausting everything I could think of I changed my password to something much simpler and shorter and it started working. Here is the 25 character password I was trying to use:

I'm not sure if there is a special character it didn't like or if it was the length but I could log into the account at hotmail.com just fine with it.

Can you tell me what the password restrictions are for SMTP authentication?

Unable to retrieve password reset (Account Hacked)

Hi, my account (removed by the moderator) has been hacked and the password changed as of yesterday! I no longer have access to my hotmail or facebook account. I have tried several times resetting the password and have also made a new email account to try and get my account back up and running but everytime i do this a message comes up saying You have tried several times to reset the password but you have to wait 24hrs until the your account is back on or temporarily unavailable? So i assume it is blocked just now. I have no idea what to do next? Can somebody please help me to get my account back up and running, as i need to log back into my account URGENTLY!!! Please help!!

I tried the password reset option and account recovery process but

1. It is not accepting my security answer as the hacker has changed it

2. The hacker has changed the alternate email address also

3. The customer service which is the third option did not help me.

I had to make this second ID just to sign up in this forum.

Please help!!
