I am making a video using some 100 slides all shot in high definition on a new Nikon D5100 at highest quality setting.
Initially tried to preview project on my computer, and wide screen setting played all right. Tried again after adding music and each shot flickered/blurred. Regular screen plays fine. I have never had such a problem with using wide screen HD video slideshows of my photos in some 25 YouTube posts (using the OneTrueMedia program) so I know it is not the definition of the photos or my desk top or my monitor.
To top everything off, when I hit save for the video, it dumped all my transitions panning and zoom settings carefully set photo by photo. I am not very impressed!
When I started using MM, when I wanted to add a photo from a directory, thumbnails of the photos were present so I could select. Now, when I try to add a photo, I get the photo file name, but only an icon of the program which is supposed to view the photo. I supposed I changed something somewhere in my setting of this new computer, but I don't know what.
Additionally, If I modify or add a photo to the base directory, it is not reflected in either a change in the photo selected or in the ability to add the new photo to the project.
Any help would be most appreciated. I have used this program before on a different machine and for about a week on this machine and not had these problems until yesterday.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

I have a brand new hp laptop, just updated to windows 8.1. When I added my first photos there was a slideshow/preview of pictures while I was on the start screen. All the other apps have the live tiles, but not my photos app. How can I make the photo app live again?
Anyone have any ideas? I would very much appreciate it. :)
Same problem as everyone else sending photos on windows 8.1 and trying to find an e-mail association. The standard answer seems to be to have a default mail client. I have windows mail and it is my default and it still does not work. I have aol mail and also Gmail. When I send a photo from share in the charms the email choices come up and I send the photo out. A few minutes later I get a message that there is a problem sending messages from aol.com or Gmail.com right now-check with provider for info. I then go to windows mail and open the out box where the photo has gone to and have to delete it to get rid of the message. The same for Gmail. Tell me this-- is windows mail considered a client or not and also the default that should associate with photo gallery? These photos go to the outbox and not the in box. Also when on pictures it still states there is no mail association.
Please for once show us all exactly how to do the association.
Thx

When I move a photo to a folder, it also stays in the main library, if I delete it from the library, then it is also deleted from the folder.
How can I delete a photo from the library but still keep it in a folder?
