Since Micrsoft is killing Messenger in 2013Q1,  will there be Skype support for BlackBerry devices?(even if that is just BB10 devices/ devices running on the QNX platform)

Can I expect an working application when my company swithces over to the BB10 platform in 2013Q1?

How do I get windows platform update?

I am trying to install windows live messenger 2011. I just spent the past three or four hours installing every new update that windows update offered me. It says that windows is up to date and that there are no new updates. 

But when I try to install windows live messenger again, it still says I have to install Windows Platform Update. And it tells me to check windows update to find out how to install that. But either I already installed it and live essentials doesn't recognize that, or I really do not have it. But I have no way of getting the platform update, so I'm stuck.

How do I get the windows platform update without using windows update? And/or, how can I get windows update to supply me with the platform update?

when I try and send email I get an error message as above and a second error message says "sorry something unexpected happenned and windows live mail must close"
