Unable to sign in in Windows Live Mail

Can't sign in using windows live mail icon on start page.  Can't open windows live mail. When it does open it asks if I want dial up or broadband. will not open when I click on icon. Started getting a pop up wanting to know how I want to sign on -- dial up -- broadband -- everytime I signed on. Have internet options set to never dial a connection as I have broadband. What do I need to do to be able to sign in to windows live mail again?

Windows Live Mail crashes when spell checking an email prior to sending

I use Windows Live Mail using a POP server on a Windows 7 machine. Frequently but not everytime when I press Send after writing an email a box appears stating that the spell check has been halted, do I want to send the email anyway. In case I might loose the email I select 'yes'. Windows Live Mail then crashes has to be closed down and re-started. The email does get sent.

I have McAfee's anti-virus installed which does check all outgoing emails for viruses as well as incoming ones.

I have made a Video using Windows Live Movie Maker and saved it in the format suitable for WMV.   I have been successful in uploading it to You Tube, but

when I try to send the same video via e-mail I keep receiving the same failur notice. ( copy below)      e-mail *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Since downloading the latest version of messenger the sound/pop up screen facility no longer works to tell me when someone has signed in. I have removed it/reset it back up both by the options facility and by right clicking on the contact but despite showing it as being set up I no longer get the sound or the pop up screen. The sound itself is working on the pc as when I press the option to play the sound everything is ok but it just doesn't work when someone signs in. Can anyone offer any suggestion as this is infuriating when working on another screen & I am waiting for someone to sign in?

Using windows live mail for vista premium. Set pop and smtp correctly, through cox dot net. For 2 days have not been able to retrieve mail. Any Ideas what to do?

When I try to sign in to messenger, a pop up tells me i must install the latest version before I can, but when I try to install it, it stops at 1% and wont progress past that. What do I do now?
