I have had a live.co.uk email account for a long time and have always accessed it from several computers via pop3 via Thunderbird.

I now find that I am unable to do so via pop3 but I can still access it via the web browser. Has something changed to prevent pop3 access or have the settings changed recently.

The settings I use are

Pop3 server - pop3.live.com Port 995, SSl,/TLS, Authorisation required.
Login - email address
Password is same as web access

Any suggestions
I had set up my hotmail account to be exported to a gmail.account Now I am told there is an error & I need to contact Microsoft for assitance Thank you
