However when trying to find files, it does not recognize them. Why?   And what do i do to overcome this weakness?
Twice now a VS2008 project I've stored and used on skydrive has been corrupted beyond use.  The first time it lost virtually the project files.  I restored it from a backup I had and it has again after some days of use lost a critical file rendering the project unusable.  Just to make clear I did no lose changes but whole files.  I was using my Surface PRO.  I can only assume skydrive is not all that reliable.
