When my Norton360 ran out I installed Microsoft Security Essentials but since then I've been unable to get onto the internet.

The message I get is:-

THE PROXY SERVER ISN'T RESPONDING.

CHECK PROXY SETTINGS 127.0.0.1:58226 FROM CHARMS, GO TO CHANGE PC SETTINGS>NETWORK>PROXY.

MAKE SURE FIREWALL SETTINGSAREN'T BLOCKING YOUR WEB ACCESS.

I've tried to follow the directions but nothing is being fixed as it stays as it is.

Please help as I'm not sure exactly what to do.

I connect to the internet through a proxy server unauthenticated. I was able to set up skydrive and it used to work for a while but since then it has stopped working at all. The icon is greyed out saying "waiting for Internet connection". this is very frustrating. using OS X 10.8.4

Acitivity reports show no activity shows u1301.exe as non-browser app

Activity reporting was working, but then all stopped. under web activity, shows google.mu, and google.com.au with App Name U1301.exe. Is this a proxy server that my child would have had to install?

cant access old hotmail account – temporary block.

hi, my old email (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) has somehow been temp blocked.

dont know whats gone on, was going to use this as my new xbox renewal email but cant even access it!!

havent been on it for years, i guess its been hacked at some point and spammed or something


ive reset my pass, i get to the link

of which, the page says - 
This webpage is not available

which is absolute cack, seeing as i can get on my current email just fine, no internet problems at all, and its exactly the same through my mobile. as soon as i reach that page "the page is unavailable"

ive started to give up all hope of ever getting this email account back.
and the live service i have received was terrible to say the least. some guy on there called Matt, told him all about it and he gave me a link and said "put the number you receive through there" and then left the chat.. WHAT NUMBER??????????????????????????????

Why is MSN Messenger freezing once I go ‘available’?

When I log into MSN I automatically appear offline and when I click 'available' my MSN freezes.  I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling/fixing/clearing internet history/clearing proxy settings (I don't have a proxy server, but figured it wouldn't hurt), unchecked the box to automatically configure and nothing will work.
