I  have swapped from a 13mac book pro to a 15 mac book pro- both running Outlook exchange.
My challenge is i wish to transfer over my pst/'on my computer' folders ( due to corp mail box restrictions i created a set of folders within outlook and simply drop emails from my inbox into these folders, once no longer important)  in from old to new machine and I just cant work it out. Why is it so bloody difficult!!
I downloaded a pst file from my windows version.  However, I want to use one calendar.  Although I can access the pst calendar where I have most of my appointments, every time I add an appointment it goes to the other calendar file.

Thanks
I have Outlook 2011 in my PC and want to copy/transfer contacts to Outlook 2011 for Mac.

I've read thousands of pages about it, but none of it has worked. Exporting and then trying to import pst files didn't work, Mac doesn't recognize pst files, or cannot find an application to open them with.  It got lost inside my Mac.
It shouldn't be that hard.

I have a Macbook Air that runs OS X Lion.

thanks a lot

I just had to re-image my Mac. When I try to get the local pst files imported again, one of the fails with error message: the file is damaged and can not be imported. Is there a utility for Mac to repair (liek scanpst.exe)?
I'm using MS Office 2011 for Mac.  I understand .PST files are no longer supported.  So how can i export mail out of my Exchange mail account (information store) and store them on a local disk only?
My mac suddenly changed the database for my Outlook 2011 and I have lost contacts, not all but some. I have backup a with timemachine in a separate harddisk. Now im trying to only import contacts so I can choose not to imprt duplicates .But i can not find them in the backup that timemachine has done please do anybody have an idea..

i migrated from windows to mac. i have win office 2011 on my mac. i want to migrate my outlook accounts to mac. i have imported the accounts to mac, but am unable to associate the pst files to email accounts. i want that my new mails should start arriving in my mac accounts from where i discontinued in windows. i have done it earlier with windows to windows but am unable to do it in mac. plz help..
I'm not sure if this is caused by SP2 or not, but I'm concerned over disk usage by Outlook 2011.

My message attachments folder has swelled to 100gb!

I run exchange with a mailbox of 10gb.

I do keep archive PST's on my macbook but the total size of those is 100gb. Those are archived in a master PC (windows) and I copy them to my macbook for ease of access.

Can anyone explain why this is? I regularly archive my mail every 45 days, but this folder seems to have attachments from well before that.

Version is 14.2.2.

When I export emails as olm files I send them (as prompted) to "Documents". When I try to open them nothing happens; I keep getting a note telling me they are from the internet asking if I want to open. when I tell it to open the saved message appears as an attachment to an email; when I try to open that the same thing happens. How do I export as an olm. file and then be able to open archived file (like you can do in Windows w/ PST files)? Thanks
