how I can create my own network by using public network in windows 8. I want to make add on to play counter strike.
i just moved in to university and the wifi is a public network, so when i signed in to the wifi, i set it as a public network, cause it's shared with the whole building. the wifi works great for everything but my email. i cannot send emails. i'm almost possitive it's because the network setting is "public". how do i send emails without switching my network setting?
When connected to a public network, my outlook 2010 will often not send my outgoing email due to "connection to the server is offline."  All other network functions seem fine.  Once I return to a known network, Outlook returns to normal function.  I can't wait until I return home from a business trip for my email program to work properly.  Anyone have a fix for this, other than risking calling  a public network a work network?

Thanks in advance,
