Recieved suspect email from Microsft Hotmail about deactivation

I received an email from "Microsoft" that automatically went into my Junk folder stating "This email is from Windows Live Customer Care. We are sending it to all account owners for account upgrade. We are experiencing network congestion due to anonymous registration of email accounts. To prevent this, we are shutting down unconfirmed accounts and your account is scheduled to be deactivated. " Then it asks for my email info and password.

Is this a scam?

I use this account for business so I CAN NOT have it deactivated.

Recieved the following email header "Threat identified :See it 11.5.12" Need help on this item

Received an email  via hotmail that contained the  above header and the following line below which

reads "Nike Golf News"

 

Have not opened this in view of a recent warning that scammers are now posting emails with the the

warning of a  virus , as a hook to get th recipient to open the email.

 

What should i Do ? virus and malware scans did not detect a problem

How do I create "since launch" smart folder for Outlook 2011?

"Since launch" was a very useful saved search for me in Entourage. Is there a way to use it as a Smart Folder in Outlook 2011? I can't find it in any Date Sent by or Date Recieved function. Could a raw query do it?
