Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm it.
  1. Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments, then just delete them  from your inbox. You’ll still have them, and your inbox will be much smaller.
  2. Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hotmail account to immediately delete junk e-mails? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
  3. Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.
I am user of Hotmail and recently it is converted into outlook and its good too but I have lots of difficulties with this.My account was hacked before two years and I now create new this account and still some write as what did past. Recently I get following Message:

So How I can get rid of such spam or intention to again hacked my accounts

I have Windows Hotmail and I recently got an e-mail asking that I reconfirm my information because they said someone has tried to get into my account.

 

They said to resend my information otherwise I lose my account. When I went to reply- there was what lookled like a personal hotmail account e-mail. This looks like a scam. Can you call me and let me know what to do? My number is <removed by the moderator>
