Can anybody tell me WHY I get all these strange markings ( marked in RED) for hyphens, quotation marks, etc., on SOME parts of an e-mail I’m trying to print out, but NOT (marked in BLUE) in others ?
These weird  a^C~ ‘s make the letter basically un-readable ! HOW do I get RID of the RED marked a^C~ ‘s ?
Thank you,
Drew McClure

This one drove me crazy this morning. Outlook is changing a word I'm spelling correctly:

statistic

It has it underlined Red, even though it's spelled ok— why?

and then it wants to change it to nonsensical

 statistiek

Sounds crazy, not making this up. thanks.
All of a sudden, almost every word typed in an email comes up with the red under line, indicating misspelling, but the words are correct.  How do I fix this and get the spell check working properly?  Thanks.

I was "pushed" into Outlook and switched back, only to find that my Contacts system had a different Red/Orange colour and was called "People" and was not nearly as good as the old contacts system, and I now find it will not let me create New groups (my old groups were not deleted, but I have not yet tried to add or delete members, which may also be a problem). How can I create new Groups in this new contacts system? Or, am I stuck without a fix?

I would like to create a Smart Folder for Inbox emails that I check as red "flagged".  I have successfully created Smart Folders for incoming emails by  "From" but can't seem to get the Flagged emails to go into a Smart Folder.
When I type in the body of an email, all my words are underlined in red. This normally shows for incorrectly spelled words. The recipient of the email
does not see the red lines but it renders my spell check useless. I have not re-set or downloaded anything on my computer. Could this be a problem at Hotmail? Help!! Deb A
