Updated Windows Live Mail to v. 2012

Now when I want to send an email to a "group" I am asked to supply a name from the group and put it beside or as a cc to the name of the group.  Any ideas what is going on, and more importantly how to get back to normal use of groups name to send email to several recipients?  If I could uninstall 2012 and reinstall Windows Live Mail 2011 that would be fine, as well.  Thanks

Cannot play any you tube videos sent to my hotmail address. I always

get message that the latest version of Adobe Flash Plaayer is needed--

I have downloaded it more than once and it has successfully installed.

The last effort was to uninstall it and reinstall it, and yes Java Script

is enabled.

Hi,

I recently had a crash of my MacBook Pro and had to format and reinstall all of the applications. Fortunately I had a backup disc of all of the Data including the Microsoft User Data Folder in Documents. I now want to import all of my old emails back into Outlook 2011. Kindly help me with the steps to complete the recovery of emails into Outlook.

Problem began after I performed backup on time machine and reinstall of OS X due to connectivity problems, I now only get Outlook search results from before the back up/reinstall, and I don't even have access to a lot of my word docs.  I rely on the search since I work from home.  All of the items are still there.  The search worked great before I upgraded to Mac OS X 10.7.5 for 10.6.8.  The tech had to copy the whole desktop onto an external hard drive, then reinstall the new OS X 10.7.5 .  Since then, when I search on Outlook, I only get results from before 9/26 (when the backup and update occurred).  The search works great for those items, but doesn't show anything I need for after 9/26.  I tried changing the identity with Microsoft Database Utility and that didn't do it. I've left my MacBook Pro on for 3 straight days, hoping to get the indexing done.  It has gone from 3 months, to 2 years, now at 11 months!  Any suggestions? How do I fix Spotlight with OS X 10.7.5?  Thanks. 










Is anyone else having a problem with Messenger today?

 I can sign in, but after that nothing. I cannot click on any names to send a message, I cannot even minimize or close the window. It just seems frozen. It is the same on my Mom's computer with her Messenger. I have even gone so far as to unistall and reinstall. Still having the same problem. Help.

I can't login to my windows live msngr and other services since few months ago, every time I try to login I get this error (error 800488eb). I did uninstall it, reinstall it, repair it, changed the date and time eventhough the issue still exist !!!

 

 I have followed all solutions proposed in this forum, but still I can't detect the problem !

 

Any help ?

Sync problems with Outlook 2011/Exchange 2010 on Mountain Lion

Since last week we have issues with the sync between Outlook 2011 and Exchange 2010. When starting the application it works just fine and downloads the mails but after the download the users has to re-enter their logon credentials. Outlook will not accept the entered username and password and the user will not be able to send or receive mails.

But, if they change the password in the account settings instead it will work for a short while but after the mail box has been synced the logon dialog box appears again and the password is not accepted.

Most of the users are running on Mountain Lion and the 14.2.3 version of Outlook. Our Exchange server is Exchange 2010. The problem occured last monday, september 10th. No changes has been made in the Exchange server for the past two weeks.

Another thing, a user tried to reinstall Office and first uninstalled it. Now, when he tries to install Office for Mac 2011 on his Mountain Lion he receives the following message:

Microsoft Outlook can not be opened because of a problem. Contact the developer so that you are sure that Microsoft Outlook works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the software. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.

windows messenger’s webcam do not show imagen

I'm using Windows Vista x 64

Recently I uninstalled Windows Live Essential 2011 because did not work a cause of Sidebybiside error.

I reinstall Windows Messanger 2009.

My webcam camera individually work fine when I press the  Microsoft Webcam icon on the desktop, I can see myself in the screen

When I tried to make a video call the connection go through, ( I can see the other person, but the other person cannot see mi ), the webcam does not show my image, appear full of black line and has no sound, similar to a TV with the cable disconnect (meaning no having signal ).

How can solve this problem ?

 

Problems using M/S Office 2011 ?

Hi, I have just tried to open not only Outlook but also Word and all I get is a message telling me that  "Check with the developer to make sure Microsoft Outlook works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X."  Does anyone any ideas please ?  This has only happened since I updated to OS 10.8.1 ?

I have the latest update for Office too.

Any ideas please.
