Recently bought a new Retina Mac book and moved (installed) the Office Mac 2011 to the new Mac book. "Encourtage" application was missing and replaced by "Outook", and was asked to purchase Outlook. Have tried to use the Product Key provided but no luck. How can I reinstall the Encourtage without paying extra? Thanks!  Ronnie
Looking for some help. I recently refreshed to a new retina MBP running OSX Mountain Lion from a previous MBP running OSX Lion. The new machine came preloaded with all the apps I needed and all I want to do is move local email folders in 'on my computer' to the new one. I proceeded to highlight the folder in question and then did a File-->Export to an .OLM file. The procedure worked (took a long time for 13Gig of data). Then I copied the OLM file to portable drive and then tried to File-->Import the .OLM file into Outlook on the new machine. Every time I tried to use the import function Outlook crashes.

Any ideas?

Thanks
MacBook Pro with Retina display, I am not able to get my icloud.com email account to work on Outlook for Mac 2011. Any suggestions?
I use iCal exclusively and do not wish to switch to Outlook, having just downloaded Office 2011 for Mac. I can't find a way of removing Outlook from the dock and I would like advice on how to do so.  I would like to keep Work, Powerpoint and Excel in the dock as I use them.
Thank you,
JPS
Hi All.

When following the steps above to view a contact, the plus signs where you add additional emails or phone numbers are distorted. I'm using a MacBook Retina and am on v 14.2.4.

If anyone has any pointers on how to sort this out, it'd be much appreciated.

It's not a big deal, just being a bit OCD!

Thanks in advance.

Hello there,
I've recently upgraded to a macbook retina complete with Mountain Lion and I've successfully installed Office 2011 (which I had before on my old macbook).  I've got notes uploaded from the earlier version, I've got email working fine, Word and Excel seem OK, but I can't get anything to appear in calendar, neither historic stuff nor new entries that I add.  I'm able to activate the new event button but when I save and close, nothing appears.  I'm sure it'll be something dead obvious and simple, but I just can't work it out...........:(
Hi, I'm trying to add columns to Oulook for Mac 2011 and cannot seem to do so.

I'm running on a MacBook Pro with Retina Display OSX 10.8.2.

In the items list, I want to add columns To show "From", "Subject", "Date", and "Size"

Right now It just shows the "From" on top of the "Subject" with the date on the right.

When I go to the "View" Menu, "Columns" is grayed out and I cannot select that item.  I'm sure it's just something stupid I've done, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
John
I recently upgraded work computers from a Windows to Mac Pro Retina.  I bought Outlook 2011 for Mac, and setup all of the same e-mail addresses that had been on my Windows Outlook.  However, I am missing a few older e-mails.  I have a couple from the pas few years, but there should be many, many more.  Recent e-mails are fine.

These are all on my Windows outlook, but didn't not sync with my Mac.  I did not import anything from my outlook, I simply setup the addresses.  First, is this because these e-mails were possibly archived or for a different reason?  And second, what do I need to do to move these old e-mails over?  I've read about importing a .pst (?) file from windows to mac, however I am concerned that this would cause recently sent e-mails to disappear.  So what is the best way to move these older e-mails over?

Suggested contacts and or the Global address GAL is not working.  Anyone else having issues with the new Macbook Pro with Retina display like this?  When sending a new email I am not getting the cached or suggested email address of people when I start typing in the TO field.  i have compared an old MBP to the new one and the new one will not work.

Same account loaded on two different Macbooks with different results.
I am using the new Macbook Pro Retina 15".  In Outlook when I'm composing a new email and start typing the recipient in the To box, the suggested names come up but they are off the screen and I can't scroll through them unless I move the message very far down on my screen.  Does any know of this issue or have a fix?
