The problem is that when I type in a name or other search term into the search box for my contacts it returns no items found.
It will find new names that have been put in since the migration.
Have used migration assistant to populate a new macbook air. Both were updated to Os X Mavericks 10.9.1 before migration. I have purchased another WPX&O from microsoft and used the key to get office running.
I have an email in my inbox. If I scroll through the inbox view I can see it. But if I click in the Search This Folder window, and key in "from:term-goes-here", without the quotation marks and with a part of the email address I'm seeking in place of
term-goes-here, Outlook doesn't find the email entry. This should be stone simple - I have an email with the from address being "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***", enter the search term as "from"claudia" and Outlook can't find it.
