Suddenly, last week and this week, I am getting the error "delivery status notification (failure) on outdoing emails that I send to valid email addresses. No matter how many times I try, I get the failure notice. I have emailed to these addresses before.
Please note, this is not happening with all emails, just a select few so some are getting through and some are not.
I am a Hotmail conversion to Outlook.com. I have a primary account and a secondary account which I have "linked" so that my secondary emails now come into my primary account. I also have the option of of using my primary or secondary email address in the
"from" title. I have noticed that these failures are happening when I try to use my secondary email address in the "from" area to reply to an email or to create an email from my primary account. As a test, after I could not reply to an email in my primary
account using my secondary "from" address, I logged into my secondary account and replied. Surprisingly, the email went through with no failure. So, I am wondering if the failure notices I am receiving are somehow caused by my "linked" accounts. Any and
all help is appreciated.
Been told repeatedly by my smartphone that my sign in to my live.co.uk account failed. Finally find out that this Is due to my entering password wrong, even though on my phone I dont need to! Tried password recovery TWICE. Both times there is an error.
Finally did the form and got a response stating thst I didnt supply enough evidence to verify that the email account was mine. As this is my secondary account for use with ebay and paypal I couldnt provide further evidence requested as I dont send emails from
the account. I just receive them. So where do I go from here. Seriously considering closing my sccounts down as hotmail/live are rubbish and there is no proper help available.
My desktop computer broke and I tried to log in to my Hotmail account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) from a different computer and it locked me out of my account.
My secondary account, which would have had the new password sent to it, is dead and has been for some time.
I have attempted the Automated Unblocking process several times and have apparently failed every time.
I require further assistance in this matter from an Administrator, not an automated system as I can certainly prove I am the account owner.
I would be grateful if someone could contact me as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Jordan
I've had a hotmail email account for 8+ years, that I've always used as a secondary account. There are valuable emails, pictures, contacts, files etc that I want to continue to have access to. Now that microsoft has switched to Outlook, I can't sign
in at all, using the same email I have always had, because it says it does not exist. I would like to regain access to my old account. I had to create a new, temporary account to try and resolve this issue. It would be great if someone could help me since
the people I spoke to in live chat were not helpful at all. Everything I've tried has just sent me in one big circle. I just want my old account back and everything in it.
I opened an account briefly last year to communicate with my lawyer. I decided today to go into it and make certain everything is deleted. I've forgotten the password so asked that a reset link be sent to the secondary account assigned to this account.
When I looked closely I realized that what little I could see of the secondary account (most of the name is not visible of course) didn't look at all familiar to me and I don't even remember the full name of it. But clearly I set it up because there it is,
and now I can't access it either. I can live without both of these accounts, but since it's been a year I wonder if account names expire. Specifically, might someone else have been able to select and use the name I had on the secondary account, and therefore
received my reset link for the lawyer account?
When they switched me I had to e-mail accounts, the primary one in which I logged in under and a secondary account. the primary was a @msn and the secondary was a @hotmail. only the msn account had a password. When logged in I went to the drop down under
my name to access the hotmail account. I can no longer access the hotmail account and that is my business account. I need to get into it very soon or I will be in deep do do. What do I do?

Prior, I had three hotmail/live accounts linked together each with different passwords that I've forgotten over the years, except for the main account that I used to switch to the other two. I have tried using the form to recover the passwords to each
account, however, neither secondary account had any sent emails, or any created folders, or billing info. So they did not have enough information to recover them. I've filled the form out three times now, each time I've gotten an email back saying that the
automated system couldn't verify that I actually owned the account and that I should just abandon the account and create a new one. And as much as I'd like to do that, the secondary account has information that I need to access in the future. So... Help me,
please? Q.Q
I understand that there are no more linked accounts in Outlook and that I am supposed to use Aliases instead now.
In the help documents I was sent leading up to this change, it said that I would be able to forward ALL emails from one account to another. I can forward the inbox emails, but I can't find a way of forwarding the junk emails from my secondary account to
my main account. Preferably, I would like to forward the junk emails from my secondary account to a separate folder in my main account.
How do I do this? I don't want to constantly log out of one account and then log in to the other account all the time.
Many thanks.
Ok where is my linked account? I have my main account and then a drop down link to my secondary account. I knew the auto linking was going to stop but, had NO idea that my secondary account would be gone. Where is it and how do I get it back too? I tried
to enter the user ID and the password but, it isn't there, just my main account.
