I tried to log on to my skydrive to find a message stating that my account may have been used to send spam or violated a usage agreement. A link was provided to get a security code, and was sent to my alternate email. I entered this and the another page
came up that wanted me to enter a phone number to receive another code. On this page a drop down menu contains a country to select and a box for a phone number. Only trouble is there is no United States. So I just left it on the first country and entered
my number anyway. Have not received any text message, and support for skydrive seems almost non existent. Posting on here is my only recourse. Also there is no offending material on my skydrive, just some documents. At this point I would rather just close
the account and be done with it, However that seems to be impossible as well. I've done nothing wrong and microsoft is making it very difficult to even find out what has happened or how to fix it.

How do I update a phone number in my e-mail account profile that is incorrect, if the system will not let me modify the profile without using the security code that it is texting to that incorrect phone number? When I log in, I receive this message that
I must use this code that is being sent to the wrong number that I can not change and I have only 5 days left to log on in this fashion or I suppose my account will be deactivated... I'd like to keep the account but seem to be in this catch 22. If I could

Hello, I have been prompt to enter a security code within a few days or my account will be locked. While I had click on recieving the code via my mobile phone but I have no text message from Microsoft with the code.
While I had email my issue to customer support but it has been more than 24 hours and I have recieved no new information about the code (I even typed a new message in that link provided in that message confirmantion after I send it).
When will I recieved anything about the code soon? As I type this, I have 4 days left (the account will be locked at the end of the week if I don't get the code soon).
I believe my mobile phone number on my account is correct (as seen on my profile page) as the last two digits match up but the amount of * look less on that secruity info page (less then 11, the amount of digits for a mobile phone number). Is that normal?
Before you asked, I have clicked on the alternative on calling on that number instead of text but I got no call aswell.
Yesterday , I opened my laptop and tried to logged in my Hotmail account which i have been using for years. FYI, this account is always logged in on my HTC. After entering my user name & password I was taken to another page and asked
to enter my password again. Then it showed me that my security code will be sent to my alternate email address which I did receive in no time and using that code was able to log into my primary account. I received following email from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***:

We would like to know more about the issue you're having. Can you please confirm if you can sign in to your account or you can sign in but cannot share files? Can you login through http://account.live.com/? Does the same issue using other browser and PC? Please verify which part you are being asked for a verification code.

Hello. I have been told that a security code has been sent to my hotmail account, but I cannot find it. When I entered hotmail, it also told me that this was the last time that it would let me access my account without first entering the security code.
I have either not received the Microsoft hotmail security code, or I have received it and forgotten it. How can I access it so that my hotmail account is not locked the next time I use it. (I have renewed my password in the last few months, but I don't think

On 08-17-13 I logged into Outlook, but before I got to the actual emails, I was prompted to make a selection. I selected my landline to receive the security code. I was called right away with the code by an automated system. I entered the code and was
