hi
Recently when I open Outlook I get sent to a page saying "Help us protect your account" which asks if it can send me a security code to my alternative security email. However the alternative email I have stored is no longer in
use.
So then I click the "I don't have these anymore" option, and I am then asked for my telephone number for the code to be sent to.
I don't want to give out my phone number, so I want to change the redundant alternative email address for a current gmail one that I have.
But... there doesn't seem to be any way of doing this. I've seen older posts on this subject that talk about there being "manage security" options where you can remove and add alternative emails, but when I go to account setting/edit
security settings, I'm sent back to the "help us protect your account".
any help on this would be great.
Marko
